  1. Don't know about the RGB aspect, but I clean my mouse pad with dawn in warm water using a soft scrubbing brush to gently work the dirt loose.(an old tooth brush works also). Then I squeeze what water I can out after rinsing it well and hang it to dry. If the RGB can get wet then air dry this may work for you. Edit: Just read that it's water proof, so drying shouldn't be a problem. Just watch for getting any liquids in the header if it's open.
  2. It's good to see the person who un perma banned me when I'd been banned for spamming after posting like 3 comments (on a first offense no less with no means to appeal)
  3. lol,and Intel, even though they didn't make their estimated earnings, are lowering the price on the ARC 750 GPU's . SOMEBODY plans on selling some video cards.....
  4. (Wife says from other room) "Dear,I'm turning the heat back up,I'm cold." (As he hears the dry hot air start blowing through the room) "Noooo!"
  5. No,NO! I was inspired ALSO by the original "[MOD] LGA775 Support For LGA771 Xeon CPUs" thread on OCN and made a separate thread that was devoted to the modded bios for the rigs. XEON Microcodes added to Socket 775 bios <---- Roughly a hundred modded bios collected in 1 thread. The 771 mod was what got me into all this and why I made an OCN account. I made friends there and followed some here and brought a couple with me. lol
  6. I have a 750ti that I tried in it and it kept crashing on boot. I think it was drawing too much from the pci-e (it only has a 250 power supply and I'm not sure what the pci-e supplies on this board.(yes it's a 945g, no it won't do a quad 771) lol, I use to keep a thread on ocn for the 771 bios mods. That was what got me into playing with these things.
  7. I use EaseUS Partion Master Free edition, lets me delete and format drives and sections along with renaming ect. See my 3 drives I'm using at the moment. Disk 0 = 2Tb HDD for testing software,Music,Vids, and non Steam games(epic,GoG,ect) Disk 1 = 1Tb NVMe with the Win 10 OS and other junk related to it(recovery ect) Disk 2 = 3Tb USB 3/7200 RPM HDD with Steam games and some other Windows junk like Pics ect. You can see each drive in the screen shot included.
  8. Didn't want to hijack pio's thread, but here's something I played around with a while back and still keep updated.
  9. Another member has been building older AMD machines for a collection of all the amd cpu's, and a member said they'd like to see what he could do with a socket 775. Instead of hijacking his thread, I made this one to show an old Compaq I refurbed then actually DOWNGRADED some to try to win the lowest spot on the CPUz benchmark test a while back(didn't make it). Here's some pics and a brief description of what I did. Screenshot_1 & _2 shows the original upgrade to the C2D E4700 while shot _4 shows the test results after switching to the Pentium E2160 The OEM cpu was a Celeron 430,a 1 core cpu at 1.8 GHz I replaced the 2 sticks of 512Mb ram with 2 sticks of 2Gb ram and added a 1Gb Radeon Hd 8490 OEM video card to give it discrete graphics that would work halfway good. The OS is now Windows 10. The Tape closing off part of the grills on the side panel is so the air gets pulled from the from across the board and out the back from the rectangular opening and not just from the square opening right over the cpu area.
  10. When I can afford to own a house instead of renting, this will be the floor plan....
  11. I'll bite.... CPUz by it's self shot was taken under load to show the clocks at boost. Included single and Multi core results. Single could've been better without geForce experiance and some windows background things eating a percent or so of my cpu. Was like this even without Firefox before the test...
  12. Nvidia executives "Don't most people have a spare kidney they can just sell for one of our ""TOP TIER"" cards?"
  13. I just finished some research on it. Seems it's supposed to be Square Enix's in house game engine they came up with. A whole TWO games have actually been made using it, Forspoken and Final Fantasy XV (Stadia) "The engine powered the tech demos Agni's Philosophy and Witch Chapter 0 initially, and has since been used in two of company's titles—Final Fantasy XV, an entry in their Final Fantasy franchise, and an original IP titled Forspoken. In early 2018, the development team of Final Fantasy XV was established by Square Enix as a new subsidiary studio dubbed Luminous Productions." <---- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Luminous_Engine lol, might be a clue why Stadia shut down.....
  14. interesting, does it update the older LTS systems to newer ones? or give 10 years of support to the old LTS? (for example 14.0?)
  15. When I saw it on twitter,my first thought was "1 MORE thing MS is gonna have to clean up when they finally get control". Makes you wonder if all the trouble attached is worth the high price tag.
  16. New Elder scrolls looked pretty awesome also.
  17. maybe we just expect too much from cards today?
  18. to the lazy,it's good enough.
  19. I do Little Ceasers they have more of a sweetness to the red sauce and they also have a cheese sauce pizza.
  20. Eating out at too many different places, and reading an average of 5 books a week. Thankfully I don't mind re-reading books. Have several hundred I mix up and read while waiting for new, along with spending $14.99 a month for kindle unlimited.
  21. The Dual Pumps should give plenty of pressure for the shower head cooling I was talking about....
  22. In the comments on Jayz vidieo (and Jay himself also) people were wondering HOW the driver could be causing the cards to over heat and the memory to over heat nada, nada, blah, blah when those functions are in the bios.... A simple Google search showed that the Adrenalin Software from AMD that contains the drivers ALSO contains software to overclock the GPU,Memory,AND play with the voltages! Maybe this latest driver update affected the Adrenalin software so that it reflected the settings that were used when driver was written?
  23. Wife has already said she won't be forced to get the ps5. If a games not available either on ps4,xbox series x/s she said she'll do without the game.
  24. lol, Someone could always use the shower nozzle as a sprayer to water cool the inside of their comp and just have a coolant recovery tray under the comp to collect the coolant as it drips out of the case with a pump to send it back to the reservoir......
