  1. Made spaghetti for sunday. Also because why not. I'm an adult and can do things like that Made up a plate It's a bit more watery than I typically serve only because it smelled so good I couldn't keep waiting for the sauce to cook down and thicken any longer. Pretty darn good though!
  2. Oh man I had no idea. I've got a pile of old dead 3.5" hard drives that are just begging to get in on this deal.
  3. Thankfully the sunroof on the Lexus doesn't appear to leak just yet. I've heard it's a trouble spot for this model as well and I figure I'll eventually have to DIY fix it myself. Though I do have to say I am definitely being spoiled driving around in this fancy car. Considering I've owned $300 trucks I could see the yellow stripes in the road through the bottom of the doors I'd say I've come a long way lol. Only real complaint is the PO got the roof mounted antenna ripped off in a carwash (how?!??) and now the radio only works kinda sorta okay for reception. Thinking I'll go to the pick n pull locally and see if I can find one on a Highlander or something.
  4. Made a pizza. New brand called "Legit", they are normally $8 but were marked down to $5 as a new item discount and had another dollar off on top of that. Best pizza I ever had for four bucks!
  5. 100%. The specific games don't matter so much to me as the broader understanding of how this affects performance. And in my book performance is not just sheer FPS numbers but latency and responsiveness of the system as well.
  6. The image just puts it over the top. I love this place sometimes. I ran no BOV or BPV on the nissan, let the turbo impeller surge as it needed. I was doing the lazy route lol. Really should have fixed that.. Edit: @Andrew look up extrude honing one time - that's the only good option for improving turbo performance with the stock manifolds. And because of the way it hones the inside of a manifold it's just an improved original part. Totally legal anywhere.
  7. Interesting. I'm still on my ancient pixel 3 XL and aside from the battery it's been running pretty good for me. Considering its age I'd say it fared pretty well over time. Also agreed it's a money thing. They probably also expect a little bump in sales from people needing something newer once they stop getting security updates.
  8. I'm a registered electrician we could change that.
  9. Another vote for headphones + BT adapter. Absolutely adore my setup with a BTR5 + SHP9600. Could not be happier, the pairing is both durable and high quality.
  10. On our Lexus we are paying $47 a month for the legal minimum insurance, in this case liability only. Age/ credit score/ address all matter for the rate you end up with. Also the UK gets ripped off.
  11. I just found this thread. There is so much yet to read through! Loving it so far.
  12. I love you guys so much, you all get my humor. I still have a P4 prescott sitting in my junk drawer to this day. All the nanometers!
  13. Boy they could almost have had the Pentium 6 out by now. I think they're just downright dawdling on their releases.
  14. As per title, when do you guys think the Pentium 5 will release? Getting sick of waiting for an upgrade for this Pentium 4.
  15. It was pretty darn good. I've been going there on and off now on tuesdays for probably 6 months. I like that they don't skimp on the toppings and if anything the pizza is overloaded a little . Also, the upside down image is a thing. Sort of the idea that most people don't pay much attention to the image and it's a little unusual for somebody to notice the change.
  16. Got this meat lover's monstrosity from an american chain store called papa murphy's - on tuesday these giant pizzas are just $12. I usually get one of these and eat until I'm full for dinner that night, then separate the remaining into two ziploc bags and that's my lunch and dinner for the following day. Two days worth of meals for $12 is hard to beat. Sliced it up and added some parmesan on top.
  17. I have that song burned onto a CD I used to jam out to when I was cruising the back roads LOL. As for the neighbors - I appreciate each and every bit of advice and intend to make use of some of your ideas
  18. insurance company from one, personal injury attorney from another. I doubt it'll go anywhere but still less than ideal to be dealing with this. Same neighbors that throw trash in my yard and dump full garbage bags over my fence. They drove over my sump pump drain pipe and snapped it off the side of the house too. Very dirty sleazy family. Absolutely refuse to stop driving on my front lawn. Even after both their land lord and the police stepped in they continue to do it. /end rant
  19. How are you going to sue somebody for driving into their fence?? Like you goofy idiot you drove into an immobile object and somehow that's supposed to be my problem? Not once but twice! How do you even get this much momentum to bend a steel pipe like that in a driveway? Sorry for the rant I just don't fully understand anything from this level of reasoning.
  20. I gotta remember to check this thread more often. Semi related but my neighbors backed into my fence post and shattered their bumper. So then they did it a second time with a second car, same thing shattered the rear bumper backing into it. Why??!?? The world may never know. But I'm being sued from two people now which is always fun. The Avalon's steering is pretty much shot after the curb hop. Steering wheel is clocked wrong for going straight ahead, and shakes pretty bad at low speeds+. Ordered new ball joints/tie rod ends for both sides and hoping that does the trick. Just need to work up the enthusiasm to install everything. Currently in the process of getting this darn Jeep repaired and cleaned up to be ready for sale. It's got $900 worth of new tires and a fairly new $200 battery + new pads/rotors all around + new AC system parts and I'm thinking I will be lucky to get $600 out of it. Works fine and drives, it's just not in good shape and the rust is pretty bad. The lexus has been pretty great aside from the wheel bearing howl. Getting spoiled in this fancy car lol - I do quite like it though. Fuel mileage is right around 16mpg city which I'm hoping improves once the wheel bearings are replaced. Don't think I shared any pictures of it but this is the most recent. Need to get those headlight housings cleared up a bit before too long as well.
  21. I see the fish but where are the potato chips?
  22. You can't just leave us hanging like this. Was there any more progress made over the summer?
  23. 2001 MX5 gets my vote - nice cars that are as fun to drive as they are mechanically dependable. Cheap to maintain and decent on fuel as well.
