  1. That's pretty interesting. I can take another photo of it including the actual tower itself and what it looks like (its pretty cool and classy for a 03 machine), if you want.
  2. Found in a 2003 era Game Informer. Thought you'd want to see it.
  3. This should help a lot. /img/logo.png neurotix`s y-cruncher - Pi-2.5b score: 54sec 926ms with a Ryzen 9 7900X3D HWBOT.ORG The Ryzen 9 7900X3D @ 4976.6MHzscores getScoreFormatted in the y-cruncher - Pi-2.5b benchmark. neurotixranks #16 worldwide and #2... Best sub. Please check it and make sure it's ok.
  4. So I tried y-cruncher and realized my 50 sec time was with the chip boosting to 5125MHz, and there's a 5008MHz limitation. I could probably do PBO +50 and stay under the limitation (remember I have an X3D so no ratio control), but I'm pretty sure my time would be above 1 minute. If I submit that, it will raise the average time because currently Flux has a 55 sec sub and Bastiaan has 1 min 3 sec sub. So I'm not doing it as I am pretty sure my sub would be detrimental to the team.
  5. Probably a good idea, since you value the stuff so much. Damric should.
  6. I was planning to do the 5900x as well, but remember @damric that you can't just disable your 5950x to 4 cores and run it, you need an actual 4 core Ryzen 3300g or 5300g or whatever. Thanks for the help though guys and I'll be sure to do my sub right so Captains don't need to remove it. (hopefully) Edit: also checked and saw I have until September 15th.
  7. Ok, I'm a dunce so I still don't really understand, but I will make a submission sometime soon. How many days are left in the competition?
  8. Minor update to the club: the text in the banner in the OP wasn't centered very well, so I just fixed it. I also moved that text ("The EHW Retrogaming Club") down more.
  9. Alright so AM5 y-cruncher 2.5b is something I can actually do and contribute. I do not have the inclination to buy a Ryzen 3300g and put it in my wife's machine for the AM4 stage, then put her 5900x back in. However, I can do y-cruncher but I have a question: The benchmark to me looks like it is currently being rated and scored based on the highest time at the link I posted, not the lowest? Currently people with the longest timed scores are getting the most points. In that case, because my chip effing sucks, I can post a score of about 50 sec. Though looking at the current subs we have for this category/stage, Flux's score is 55 secs so maybe I'm wrong. I would like to contribute at least something to the team cup since I've seen how hard all you guys have been working on it and even seen Avacado on camera trying to figure out how to abuse a socket 939 Opteron, lol. However, is it needed since we have two subs already, and would my score be good enough? Like should I even bother?
  10. If that's an EliteGroup/ECS mobo, you should pair it with a BFG or Diamond graphics card. It would be cool to have a rig with parts from AIBs that no longer exist. @pioneerisloud
  11. Cerberus declined the mug, as he has opted out of prizes which I didn't consider. Yusuf_stew, you've won a mug! Please pm me with your shipping address and let me know if you want the 1.0 or 2.0 version of the mug.

  14. Yes, my wife has a MSI 3060 Ventus and it was running the entire time.
  15. I hate you Flux. Lol. You steal 3rd from me last month in the last hour, and this time you beat me by like 150k points. Sigh. Good job Anyway, I'll pick winners for the prizes later today.
  16. Agreed on all points. And yes, despite being a 2009 game, UT3 still looks great now. Especially the Deathmatch maps.
  17. I pretty much don't play fps games, I suck, but I freaking LOVE UT and especially Onslaught mode. UT3 was great even without community maps, the new alien vehicles were really fun, but UT2004 was like... Just perfect.
  18. Update: I am scheduled for hip surgery on September 8th. I will have to wear a brace and be on crutches for two weeks, as well as do physical therapy twice a week for 12 weeks. After 6 weeks I will have an office visit with my Doctor, and if the surgery on the left helps then I will be sent for a CAT scan on the right hip and get scheduled for surgery on it with the same conditions I stated above, after surgery. I believe the procedure I'm having is called a hip arthroscopy. There was a really bad f up and issue with the imaging, Northwestern health sent the CAT scan data to Stryker in the wrong format. This caused a significant delay of about 6 weeks instead of 2 for my Doctor to have the 3D model of my hip. Either way, I have quite a large mountain to climb, but I'll do it if I can sit and not have pain in the hips. I may not make a full recovery til March, and I may be doing physical therapy through then.
