  1. It's cool, sorry if I reacted with hostility or negativity. I was only trying to explain that I did this for fun and hopefully to make other people feel the pride that I do as a member of this site and folding team. It was never meant to represent the site, though when I was graphics designer I got similar complaints about misrepresenting the brand. That was not my intention and honestly not even something I was thinking about when I drew this stuff up. I appreciate and understand that from a business point of view, you are 100% correct that this could be taken to misrepresent the brand, possibly because the logo is not the official logo. But as I said, if I paired that with bubble art "folding@home" it would look weird. Representing the site as a brand was not even something I was considering, I just wanted to do some psuedo graffiti art and scan it in and color it. Because it's been on the back burner as an idea in my head for months. I do appreciate the feedback and will try to keep it in mind in the future. And yes I was curious why it was getting no comments on here or Discord for a day or two so I appreciate you commenting and apologize if I seemed hostile. I appreciate you trying to help. Thank you. We should chat on Discord again sometime.
  2. I appreciate this and sorry I didn't respond to the second idea. Yes, the forum is social media but it's not on the front page of the site nor is it officially sanctioned by Enterprise to represent anything. When we talk about social media I'm thinking Twitter or Facebook. I would of course love to see this art posted there but that's probably not happening. I appreciate that you are trying to help me get better, but if I just copied and pasted the site logo (like I've done a million times) and did bubble art saying "folding@home" it wouldn't look very good or match at all. Also, this is a 29 page forum thread that will have many more posts and pages in the future, eventually the art will be buried and forgotten. Regarding the graffiti on the rig or graphics card: cool idea. Flux already does this (not graffiti though) and said he uses vinyl sheets you can print on (I think) but our printer may not be usable for it as it only accepts thin sheets of paper, we tried using mixed media paper one time and it wouldn't go through... I generally eventually sell all my components when I upgrade, so I prefer to keep them stock. I also don't want anything on my glass side panels as it would detract from the clean look of my rig imo. Thank you for your opinion and input man.
  3. Y'know, I was just trying to do something cool and do some art to represent the team. I'm not even really sure what to reply with, because I don't see myself or my art misrepresenting a "company", (it is not on social media or anything in a capacity where it would be used that way) it is simply what I decided to make in hopes of doing something cool for us and hopefully making some of you guys happy. It also took a lot of work to sketch out and ink, to the point that now my low back is messed up and painful two days later from leaning over a table to make it. I don't think it misrepresents the logo for the site, it has the stylized "E", and it's using the exact same gradients and colors the logo does. I didn't want to cause trouble or start a flame war. I just wanted to do some art to show my folding team spirit. That's all. I'm sorry you don't like it and we disagree.
  4. Oh, I can do graffiti art that looks like the real deal and is difficult to read etc. I learned how from a guy in prison. But I chose to be conservative with this one and just do bubble letters because I usually get complaints about legibility.
  5. Thank you! I thought it would be cool to share my team spirit by making a graffiti style banner image.
  6. Here's an alternate version taking into account some suggestions from Flux on Discord:
  7. Thank you. I have a 2x16 kit of G.skill Flare X B-Die and for my current overclock (6200MHz cas 30, see what I posted above), it needs 1.435v. I am wondering what kit you have, maybe I'll pick it up if it's not too expensive. I will probably try your timings tomorrow, and leave the voltage at 1.435v and see if it does it.
  8. Agreed. It looks sick. I'm jealous. I really love the temperature monitor on the front.
  9. For you guys that are posting screens of DDR5-7000+, what voltages are you using to achieve it? Knowing this would help me greatly when I decide to try myself.
  10. Had some free time today as usual. Been wanting to do this for months but never got around to it. I hope you all like it.
  11. What memory voltage are you using for this? I want to try it with my kit.
  12. Try these timings and speed for your memory. The person I got these timings from was able to do 6400MHz but on my system, it was extremely unstable. So I run 6200 instead. My system passed 4 hour of memtest86 as well as 4 hours of GSAT with these so its rock solid stable.
  13. What memory do you have, E? I have some really good timings I could share for B-Die and 6000MHz-6400MHz cas 30. These timings may work for other kits/Hynix memory too. You can also run higher Infinity Fabric clocks on Zen 4 too, I run mine at 2100MHz with 1.25v SoC voltage.
  14. Here's the Vapor-X: Bigger cooler and a backplate on it. It's different from the Tri-X, but people get confused because it was released later in the lifespan of the 290 after everyone had already purchased the Tri-X. It's a great card, especially for collectors. Aside from the bigger cooler and backplate, it also had a RGB Sapphire logo that lights up and you could choose the color with the right version of Sapphire TriXX. You should get one. Sorry for the interuption gentlemen. Continue with the MI25 discussion.
  15. Lol, it was great and lasted 10 years and was a Seasonic unit. It ran them fine. You aren't ever going to let this one go man, are you? I actually sold the Vapor-X 290s and got the R9 Fury's at a great discounted price, then went to 2x 1080ti ftw3, and now my 4090.
  16. Off topic but here's 2x Sapphire R9 290 Vapor-X and 2x Sapphire R9 290 Tri-X. I can't find a pic of dual R9 Fury, because all the photos documenting my old build (Big Red) have been removed from my OCN thread. But this is my small way of showing some AMD GPU love. ( The Vapor-X were amazing and the best cards I've ever owned)
