  1. Never heard of it, but congrats!
  2. Linux won't help you, don't bother. There are drivers for it but AMD GPU support in Linux sucks. Afaik they don't even have a proper control panel, and overclocking is not available. On the Nvidia side, with the official Nvidia drivers and an app called GreenWithEnvy, you get both a proper control panel and a very slick overclocking utility that can do a lot, unfortunately it lacks voltage control though.
  3. So, I came up with this for you bro. I kinda wanna use it myself as I am a ROG fan too and only bought ROG boards since like 2011. It should be the right dimensions to fit in your signature, and I used the same gray that the site uses in dark mode so it will blend in. Hopefully you know how to get it in your signature. There is a zip attached with the graphic in it, please download and extract it and upload that, as it will be in higher quality. (The graphic I just posted has been compressed by the site). Hope you like it. republic of gamer.png.zip
  4. Yeah, this will be pretty insane. I have a similar build already, however mine is not watercooled with four 480mm rads (wish it were). I suffer from pain issues, so am not able to build a loop or do the maintenance on it. You'll be happy with the 7950x3d and RTX 4090, however.
  5. Thanks for the pics and wow, I knew they were a few thousand dollars but didn't realize they were originally $16k Reminds me of my used Nissan 300zx I used to have and that it was $32k in 1990. Was cool to own something that was originally that expensive. Best of luck on your watercooling exploits, may they be leak free. It'll be interesting to see how much ppd that thing puts out.
  6. What would you like? Have any pics of a water-cooled system or anything? Just be warned, since you are a regular member (not a subscriber), any signature banner will be limited to 250x60 or something like that and that is very small.
  7. Nice dude. When that came out it was very expensive. Pretty cool to see
  8. Do it if you have the money. They are fantastic gaming cards too. If using stock cooler, the best ones seem to be the MSI Gaming X Trio and Zotac AMP Extreme.
  9. Been waiting for this day since like December. Ordered a mug. Just awesome, good work to everyone else mentioned who helped with this. We all pulled it off! Edit: Yep, the Merch thread in chit-chat general that I started was started December 5th. This took us all a long time and a lot of work. Time to pat ourselves on the back.
  10. Checking it out now. So excited and will be buying a mug to drink my morning coffee in. Really, really excited. Awesome. Edit: Just bought a mug. The 1.0 version.
  11. Better video of the RGB lighting in my rig. Noise is from a dehumidifier near it: Also got some cable combs coming tomorrow for the 12VHPWR and ATX 24 pin that we're going to put in.
  12. Awesome, yes these are what I saw people using in the past. Thank you. We will probably just use a 6 pin one for the 12VHPWR. You've been repped.
  13. I'd do this and get cablemod cables or something but the problem is that the back of my rig is a mess, don't have a photo on hand. Unless those basically replace the stock cables, it won't work as I have no room to stuff an extender cable back behind my glass panel, we wouldn't be able to get the rear glass on. There's like 0.5mm clearance between the back metal and the glass. However, I'm gonna check out CableMod and see if they make cables for my PSU that would be a replacement. Edit: CableMod is a no-go. They make replacement cables for my PSU but not the 12VHPWR. Otherwise I might need to look around some more and maybe go to a salon and look for flat black barettes or something, searching "flat black plastic clip" got me nowhere on Google. Thanks for trying to help UltraMega.
  14. Sorry, those won't work because of the size of each individual cable being too small, also this is basically only for my 24 pin and my 12VHPWR for the GPU. I did see other kits that included a 12VHPWR clip that had the 6 on the bottom, 6 on top and 4 on top of those for the sense pin wires. Like these. However these were all closed and won't work because they have to be put on the wire with the connectors off or something which I can't/won't do because I don't want to ruin my brand new psu cables.. I might need to check the site for my psu to figure out what gauge wire they're using because it's very thin. The ones I'm talking about were basically flat plastic clips that just snap closed over the wires and compress them a little. They may very well have been womans hair clips. Let me dig on OCN and see if I can find a photo. Edit: checked the website for the specs of my power supply and there's no information about what gauge the wires are. Sigh. It's a Seasonic Vertex GX 1200w if you want to try to figure it out. Managed to dig up an old image showing the clips I'm talking about.
  15. Hey, I didn't know where else to put this in other sections. My new PSU has braided cables, however they are very thin for some reason and standard open cable combs won't work (the plastic ones with a slot for each wire). Back in the day on OCN, I saw numerous people with rigs that had cable combs that were essentially a clip, sort of like a woman's hair clip, and they were black plastic. I want some of these in my rig. Any help appreciated. Thanks.
  16. Found a way with my phone to better capture the correct colors of the LEDs in my rig. So here's a few pics.
  17. Thanks. I assume you saw all the shirt designs I did pages back? When the store opens, it will initially have some very simple designs made by Enterprise that are basically just the site logo on a shirt. He wants to test the waters. A few months later, I will be able to order a few of the shirts I designed and test print quality such as blurriness, print coming off them, how they stand up to multiple washes in a washing machine, etc. If they check out, then they will become available to everyone. Don't forget to thank UltraMega too as he's the one who found the site we are using (Printify) and used art assets I made to come up with some awesome shirts too
  18. Have you tried looking at other sites that do 4 inch parachute pull lanyards? Guessing maybe you have but come up with nothing. If you want to turn them into stickers instead, that's fine.
  19. Ok, as @UltraMega requested, I have made just transparent logos for each of the 4 designs at 1"x4". Additionally, all the backgrounds are separate and double size (2"x8"). Only took maybe 15 minutes to do, what was I complaining about? lol Zip is attached. Also, thank you for the encouragement Flux, that really means a lot to me, actually both your and Avacado's encouragement has really helped, as I look up to and admire both of you (Flux for your graphic design and main rig, Avacado for his knowledge of electronics repair, benching and PC building and custom loops.) I will try and work on not taking things personally and realize I may need to try multiple times at the same thing to come up with something that is satisfactory. You're also right about not getting worked up over this, I didn't really intend to but you guys are right, there's no rush. Either way, I did what UltraMega needs so lets hope he can find a site that can make these real! lanyards separate logo and bg.zip
  20. Gotcha. Thanks for the advice. I have also listened to Flux' advice, and I understand that this is a process, and you are right in saying it doesn't need to be done today. Though being disabled and having no responsibility in work/raising a kid (mad respect), I have free time essentially all day, so I can do it. I did all of the designs with you in mind when it was suggested, since I wanted to help out and I also have the ROG one. I thought primarily of you and tried to come up with some cool designs the best way I could. However, I do understand it wasn't asked for and I also understand we don't even have a site that can make them yet, so I don't need to rush. Thanks for the reply, the encouragement and the wake up call to slow down essentially. I suppose I should remember how many revisions I did of the March foldathon logo, SM images with products, and so forth. It took like a month and a half. Sorry for complaining about this. You are right in everything you said.
  21. Will get to this, then. I will make all of them transparent, then take the backgrounds and put them in separate images that are twice as large, though they will be scaled up. I will make them 2"x8" and leave the logo files 1"x4". Thanks for explaining.
  22. I am not sure I am understanding why this needs to be done or what you mean. I've also worked on these 3 days straight so making changes at this point is asking a bit too much. Do you want me to make them all transparent or something? Should I keep the border or ditch it? Thanks and sorry.
  23. Ok, here they are. Zip attached. 4 inch lanyards.zip
