Unbelievable - Crypto's next attack on Gamers & Enthusiasts? SSD's and HDD's

Recommended Posts

When piling on is the in vogue thing to do in 2021 ... having already made the GPU and CPU markets unbearable for gamers and enthusiasts and in the midst of a global chip shortage, the last thing we needed was this.

Apparently the next attack on our market will be the prices of HDD's and SDD's by the new crypto-currency Chia, which focuses and rewards not performance, but available disc space.

RAM and Power Supplies are all that are left to take.  I'm growing weary of trends.  Is there any relief in sight ... ever?

I guess we should scoop them up while we can

It's already started. The nvme drives I was looking to pickup at Micro Center jumped up like $100 and are almost all out of stock. Think I'll just end up with the Inland drives at this stage.

Don't forget the Noctua brown and beige fans...

But in all seriousness, it's sucks that it's so hard to get parts!

The big power supplies are already harder to get, miners need power too..

You forget about me, I'm a micro PPCS. I have extras of everything. If anyone in the states here truly needed something I would help them out. Call it Avacado's Emporium.

It's a good thing i'll be getting a 16.25KW solar array in the next few months. Gonna need it to power all those cards.
