When I put the 2080 into the ETF rig for FAT, the slot # changed for the 960, and the units have been dropping under BWG instead of hertz9753. It was 3 work units that were missing from the stats, so I added those just now. Should be all fixed now going forward.

Cheater, running heaven windowed. Otherwise, really nice. Going to need about 300 more samples in Lars stock to make it eligible.

I know I'm guessing it won't be eligible for a while since it took forever to get the first hundred or so samples.

That was actually my test project before I start screwing around with Michele's ETF card's BIOS. She said if I could mod that $20 ebay card then I can mod her $75 ebay card.

So nobody ever tried to run 4 2080Ti's for a benchmark? That surprises me..

No it's not that. NV link only support 2x cards, there are new ways coming out to link GPU's. Have been looking into NVswitch, I forget the other way, NV something or other.

Lol, I didn't know that. But as soon as it's possible someone will strap 4 ln2 pots to 2080Ti's and set a few world records...

Michele and I would like to start our own ETF team on January 1st. We had a great time folding for your teams and we learned a lot. This gives you a month or so to find our replacements. We also need 1 more member for our new team and I'm looking. I think we all will enjoy having 1 more team for ETF. Also thinking of a team name

I think ya'll should talk before I chime in. But, I get how folding separately could be meh. Maybe Mrs. Firedfly could fill the spot for the rats?

Always good to have more folks folding for the team. I'll start poking around more for additional potential participants, but if that doesn't work out, I should be able to reliably enter a second GPU to temporarily fold in place of a third team member, if we're still okay with that.

I found my 3rd member. He's new to folding but I've been explaining it for a few months and he has the ability to do this 24/7. Michele also came up with our team name: 1D10T5

Pretty sure I roasted something in the K5000 because the TPF is way off of what it should be stock or otherwise. I switched back to the 960, so this may get interesting again.

Weird. The ETF database hasn't picked up anything from me or Michele in over a week. I'm seeing the machines finish the WUs, but it says we have only 1 each?

 

Any ideas @BWG?

That's usually a passkey related issue. Is it all you're folding on this month? Both of you?

Yes. I have another non-etf key for testing things, but I verified the ETF keys are logged into the correct cards on mine and Michele's separate ETF rigs. It usually takes a day or two, or sometimes 3 to finish a unit, but there was definitely more than one unit a piece finished on both machines.

 

Edit: if the next WUs aren't counted I might try uninstalling and reinstalling the clients. That or I might switch cards. I haven't ruled out that the WUs are simply failing but I haven't seen them failed.

I could also fill-in short term with either a k420 or k2000 (nothing impressive but all I got 24/7)

You're good. I already knew about your BOINC from the Discord chat. Several others I'm worried about since there's been so many Windows updates I wonder if they are even aware they have no points.
