Gaming laptops anyone ?

Some of the pros and cons in the list are a bit scattered IMO.

 

Looking at the Area-51M, "Cons: Extremely Pricey" @$1999.99.

Vs the m15 R2, "Cons: No mention of price" @$3129.99

 

While I do agree with some of these recommendations, it almost seems like they took a shotgun shells worth of random laptops and slapped them in a list.

Also, though I appreciate the fact that laptops can run 240 Hz these days, it doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me on a laptop.

I agree, the reasoning is not consistent throughout, I guess it's up to us to make the overall determination but I am 100% with you regarding Laptops and silly refresh rates, there is just no real use case for it in my humble opinion. Not only that but in order to really take advantage of such a high refresh rate, you will need a decent GPU which are seldom found in laptops that can push that far, even some of the top spec. Do not even get me started on phones with high refresh rates.
