The ProMotion screen is the only thing that is worth upgrading for, but is only available on the iPhone Pro models. If you have an iPhone 11 or 12, it's not worth it. Realistically, are you really going to see a difference in real world use between an iPhone 12 and iPhone 13? I couldn't tell going from an 11 to 12 Pro. The only reason why I did upgrade is because I got a better deal from my network provider. The only real world difference you're going to see is with the 120Hz screen which will make the phone feel a lot more responsive.

 

I have to say this event was disappointing for me. The only thing i was really looking forward to was the new MacBook Pro which wasn't announced and the Apple Watch 7 which I would have bought had it looked like these "leaks" from a few weeks ago

 

 

I'm not a fan of round edges so this would have been an instant purchase for me, but instead, Apple made the edges even rounder than the Apple Watch 6.

I was just taking a read on the ProMotion screen. Nice to see that it is an adaptive technology being that it is not constantly forcing 120Hz upon all screen content. Will be an effective way to reduce battery strain which is the main...or only negative of the higher refresh rate screens.
