Western Digital's OptiNAND technology uses an iNAND UFS embedded flash drive (EFD) with an HDD to improve performance, reliability, and capacity. HDDs have really come a long way..I know that these are most probably for Data Centers and such, but with everything gaining size in storage space(i.e games and personal files),and me being old enough to dislike cloud services,I can't help but feel excited..Let's hope the price is right

Wow nice. HDD tech has had to progress really and the last 5 years has certainly seen that.  When I fill my storage, I will look at these, by then maybe the price will be lower.

Well,yes….it’s better to have less HDDs with bigger storage than vice versa…

 

..less is more in a way….:)

 

Hope that pricing isn’t very restrictive..
