Bios 90 code after 13 hours

Hi everyone-

im using a 1800x/Taichi x470 as a truenas server. I only have 16gb of ram in it… but even if I’m using it as a normal computer after 12-16 hours I get an error code 90 on the bios readout. Any thoughts? It isn’t on boot so I’m stumped!

Upon research checking official resources error code 90 is not a strictly referenced code, which I have come across before and it is so frustrating.

Upon further general quick sleuthing, it seems most got the issue resolved via an RMA only.

yeah! My research has brought nil, too. It’s like an error message with an “okay” button only.

Need more information here. 90's codes are usually PCI-e related in my experience. Does the computer continue to run after the code pops? Or does it shut off and give you another 12-16 hours before doing it again?

This should help, it was from the X570 manual, so fair to assume it's the same for the x470 as well. Also found it referenced the same in other manuals. Looks like a Boot device selection error. What drives are you running in that server? If they are mechanical and old, you might have a failure coming. If M.2. could try swapping locations. If SATA, different ports.
