The best graphics cards in 2022

Recommended Posts

  Quote

The best graphics card for PC gaming is one that not only gives your games a boost but one you can actually get hold of in today's market. With this current GPU generation, we've had heaps of top-tier cards from both Nvidia and AMD but it's been awkward getting hold of them recently. At least not for anything like their recommended retail price. It's getting better, but right now, the better the card, the more people will try to overprice

Hello and welcome to the forums! The news section probably isn't the best place to get upgrade advice. Consider making your own thread within the GPU subsection of the forums and we would be glad to help. Please also list your current system, intended usage and budget for upgrading.

Even talking retail/MSRP prices, just feels like top end PC's are becoming much more a hobby for the elite. I lucked out with prices and trades to get this card and such, but I am worried about the trend continually upward.

My other worry is that even certain cards priced in thee $500-$800 range just won't have longevity due to specs like a 3070. Especially for 4k longterm.
