I'm not using it; PM me and let me know where to send it. I'm pretty sure you'll get at least 500K (if not 700K+) PPD out of it, when you've got time to get to it.

@Cerberusit's on its way. I'll PM you the tracking no.

positives: I got it running, finally, on unraid (no *, gave ubuntu 15 reinstalls of all different releases, and tinkering, couldn't ever to get it to not crash or black screen. I really think it doesnt like x470 and ryzen)

negatives: I still have to put the other two in the system and set up my shelf.

No rush/stress. I bought those cards because you talked about linux and the latest PPD estimates were 3 mil + on Lars. Thats looks to be 1.8 mil PPD currently. Once you get them running, I can help you get them tuned if you want help.

I'm gonna have to give up on running any flavor of *nix on amd hardware, it just doesnt play that well, cpu keeps having fatal errors... so im on the hunt for a cheeeeap 10th gen intel or a whole intel board/cpu combo.

also @iamjanco the seahawk showed up

well after putting another machine into my 120v rackmount power strip, it decided enough was enough, melted the 10ga tripp-lite $50 cable I had feeding it. thankfully it popped the internal fuse and saved all of the machines in my rack.

that being said, I ran another duplex outlet and a single 15a breaker, all is well except for my ryzen machine is even having issues in windows (bsod, page file error)

Phew, really sounds like you are punishing the power there! Glad the gear is ok thought bud.

I would send some Tesla's your way but need to sell them to get some new GPU's for the CFP, sorry about that. If you know of anyone in the market, let them know

I posted a big guide in a spoiler, and it got eaten by the forum.  I'm following this thread now, so hit me up if you have any Linux questions.  I'm not super familiar with Unraid (my VM hosts are running Debian or Arch), but I would probably go the container or VM route with folding on Unraid.

For last months Folding Comp I ran F@H on my GPUs via podman with a slightly modified Docker container from the official F@H containers. https://github.com/FoldingAtHome/containers

I was running on AMD GPUs, but the NVIDIA container is fairly similar.  It should be pretty easy to set up if you have any interest in running containers, and want to isolate the different GPUs in their own environment.

There is a thread in the Unraid forum, but it appears to be dead now. https://github.com/FoldingAtHome/containers  I haven't looked at the Unraid community container, so I'm not sure why it isn't working.  The offical gpu container from F@H worked fine for me.

my issue is with hardware after boiling it down, for some unknown reason my x470 is not wanting to not hard lock or not bsod from a sata drive (i think)

more testing is required, but I'm just going to stick with intel on my linux machines for ease of use, the 1080 seahawk was installed and folding in like 30m.

I figured the container thing out when setting the parameters in unraid while configuring gpu encoding. the F@H container was similar, the ETF 980 is actually set up in my storage server.
