ATTENTION Extreme Team Folding Participants: Please make sure you do not fold anything under your ETF GPU Passkey except for the GPU you are participating in the event with. You need to use a 2nd passkey to fold anything else in this event.

 

In the spirit of folding for the cause and good old friendly competition between members, we are hosting another folding competition. For more details please see below.

 

How to participate:

During the competition you must be folding for Team 239902
You must post in this thread with "IN" followed by your folding username.

All "Folding Time" prizes will require your username/passkey to be given to the donator, this will not give them any of your personal information, it just let's them be able to contribute full points to your username.  Passkeys need at least 10 full Work Units to start getting the full Quick Return Bonus.  Alternatively, you could setup another passkey for your Folding@Home username with a different email address and fold your first 10 units on that.  This would still put the points towards your username, but they would also be tracked by a different passkey.

Please note all winners must claim within 30 days from announcement of the winners.

EDIT: I currently have NUMA disabled in the BIOS for that novabench comp. Better to re-enable for F&H I'm guessing?

I have also been running my 3090 off and on... We were kinda stupid and put the two spiciest rigs in the same room. So with my roommates dual 3090s rendering and mine folding the office gets unbearably hot.

Yea, I was building, so the 3070Ti and 980Ti are down.

Added 44 threads of my 3960X to the mix, and that looks to be good for about 1M ppd.

 

I forgot how little power AMD GPUs use for F@H compared to other compute work where they are actually being pushed hard.

 

Currently running F@H on the following:

6900XT @ 2800core/1075mem

2x Radeon VII @ 2080core/1200mem

3960X (44 threads) @ 4200MHz

Total system power load (as reported by the UPS) = 1140W
