Intel's Battlemage will be a 225W affair that will be targeting the RTX 4070 performance level based on the current state of the Arc driver stack. If Intel is able to significantly improve the driver stack, then this performance level could go up as well. This certainly ties in very well with what Raja Koduri said that their core audience is one that only wants a single power connector - essentially the mainstream to enthusiast market. The ultra-enthusiast market will remain firmly in NVIDIA and AMD's control for 2023 at least.

Hope they can pull it off. I think they will be able to make Nvidia sweat a little if their RT performance so far is any indication.

As much as I would love to see them drop a flagship competitor I knew that wouldn't happen for a while. The midrange is where we really need some more competition. As more platforms like Twitch adopt AV1, the Arc cards should be a great option for the majority of people that just want to game and stream on a single screen.

With a name like Battlemage, somebody better come out with a pink anime inspired card that's EHW gamer girl™ certified.

Makes sense really. You have to think, both Nvidia and AMD have had decades at this point of developing drivers. I just hope Intel sticks to it.
