How to downgrade and bypass bios flash rollback on a lenovo ideapad using linux ubuntu 21.04?

Unless u can think of a way to do it on Windows, I'd appreciate any advice as I cannot enter bios setup, it won't let me no matter how i try to enter.

Also if u can help me determine what the bios recovery filename should be, i should be able to perform a crisis bios recovery on the phoenix bios.

Thanks

Linux might be your best bet to be honest, though I am sure there is a way to do it through a UEFI shell.

So far as a bios recovery filename, this is an arbitrary value and you should be able to name it whatever you want, however, wherever the bios file is mentioned, you just have to make sure you use the same all the way through. However for simplicity and following the guide, I would just use whatever name values they are using.

I fixed it so easily, just used a different usb flash drive a 32gb sandisk cruzer glide and formatted to fat32 and threw 2 files on there as i couldn't confirm yet which one it looked for but it worked!  Turned off the laptop had a full battery and power plugged in & held fn + r and power and it booted right to begin the ultra fast flashing process took only 30 seconds or less and now its all back to normal.
