HISENSE 43A6H GOOGLE TV ROOT WITH MTKCLIENT GUI HOW TO?

 

The Hisense 43A6H is a Android 11 Google TV with a Mediatek SoC chipset MT9612.

 

Hi does anyone know how to dial in mtkclient gui for windows and get root access if i already have the bootloader unlocked and already have the boot.img ready?  I tried Magisk & it didn't work.

A little more history and information on what you are attempting to do may benefit here. 

 

Is the mtclient something you are using on a Windows PC to communicate with the Android OS on the TV so you can load in a boot.img with a view to gaining root access on the TV ?

Maybe you are familiar with an alternative root patch the boot.img method to root an android device?  Specifically my Google tv.  Sorry but i think mtkclient gui requires me to enter brom mode which i cant on this tv as of yet.

 

my goal now is to gain root access with supersu or magisk or something.  thx

I only have experience with rooting android phones with tools from a few years back, some of the methods will undoubtedly be similar but I have no experience with mtclient

I cannot figure out how to get the mediatek tv into brom mode to flash the boot.img.
