What about just keeping it simple?

Leave the titles part as is the way it is now, allowing upwards of 2 lines of text.

Move OP down 1 line below the title (which I believe is "as is" now).
Force "Last" to be 1 line below "OP" instead of even allowing it on the same line as OP (since sometimes it splits anyway)

Abbreviate the date to be numerical so it fits without going down yet another line.

This would force that section to stay within 3-4 lines of text at most, and it'd have everything requested visible as best as possible.

Is there something about having room for titles that isn't simple? Seems pretty simple to me.

Hey guys,

Update on this.

As I thought, catering to varying different device types/resolutions is going to be difficult. IPS (Forum platform) has its own set of display classes (like all sites) for how content is displayed depending on device type/res and these are the rules the latest widget is adhering to. Now, even if we could override this sort of behaviour, I am not keen on it.

IPS has its own set of display classes based on "Current" best practice based on resolutions and device type. For the sake of ensuring the best experience for the majority, it is best that this is left alone and I allow IPS to dictate any changes moving forward in this area as they have the best knowledge over device demographics and what is best for content displaying on their platform.

HOWEVER. I understand that the more "Comprehensive" look that we have now is either not preferred by some, or may not display as nicely on certain display types. So I have worked with the dev to create an option for users to select which type of the latest widget is loaded.

From Settings>Theme Settings You now have the option to choose between "Simple" & "Comprehensive". It is worth noting that the "Simple" view is how the latest widget used to look prior to us making changes.

I feel this is the most sensible compromise we can offer with respect to catering for different display types and users general preference.

Many thanks,

E

Is it not possible to just add a line for titles so they get two lines and leave everything else as is?

Just noticed that the Latest Reviews Section on the home page doesn't apply colours to the Usernames like the Posts and News sections:

Yeah, the reviews column is different as it pulls info from our Wordpress site, so the layout wont follow the same rules.

A user had the same issue as per:

Browse HERE. If you are on "Simple" then change it to "Comprehensive" or vice versa depending on which on is default for you. Be sure to save the changes. Then switch back and this should help.
