Never noticed if they have fan or not. I would think it needed with the ineficient amd apu.  Only apple can pull decent fanless with the m2 and up cpu i think.

 

The surface tablet throttle like crazy even with a fan on intel.

So,it's pretty much the rog ally 2023 high end (NOT the X) but with a better screen,and slightly better battery and the straight AMD hardware and drivers for the iGPU for $100 more....

For the money, the Rog Ally X still win for me if I were splashing cash on a handheld. The battery in the  Zone is not all that fantastic either.

Still doesn't interest me as much as a small laptop. Like the upcoming GDP Pocket 4. I guess i just don't like gaming with a controller.

The only reason i like them is for emulation of older console since they are easy to carry. But they are expensive af.
