It is possible.  I made a lot of my part decisions based on what I could get at Amazon or microcenter.  Amazon had a lot of Corsair parts available to ship quickly

It's all good. Just thought you should know. If you plan on running more than 1 rad, you will be severely limited in flow.

Ugh, yes....totally gimped (they aren't really "gimped", they are the less expensive, less powerful oem piece that Corsair is charging full boat for from the unsuspecting) D5 for the price of a full power one. And you paint me to be a madman....but I rant with good reason! $160 for a gimped D5 and plastic tube?????? That's worth ranting over.

And this is why you should be shopping at Performance-PCs, TitanRig, ModMyMods, etc. They are liquid cooling specialty stores, and carry components from liquid cooling specialty brands. While Corsair is trying to pretend to be one.....they aren't. You paid $115 for that same rad you could have gotten from PPCs for $85, as the Corsair is an HWL L-Series with a little sailboat sticker. Rather than paying $30 for a sailboat sticker, you could have bought a GTX for the same price you paid.  Just say no to Corsair

My 770 Classified may have been my favorite card that I have owned (in context, of course). It was a beast for the money.

I'm assuming when you say "dual core" you have 4 ports on your radiator? Could this be used as liquid to liquid heat exchanger?

Dual core refers to the tubes within the rad itself.

As @Avacado already pointed out, the number of cores in a radiator just refers to the number of tubes that are arranged more or less side-by-side, but still in one single cooling liquid circuit. I use dual core and triple core rads that have either four or five ports, but they are all connected to each other...leave one open and all of it will drain out . Dual and triple core rads tend to be much thicker than standard rads: single core on the left, triple core on the right:

 

 

You're probably thinking of a classic liquid-to-liquid heat exchanger with two separate liquid circuits, ie....

Nope. Would have been nice, but not with these models.

As a water-cooling novice, I also snagged a Corsair XD5 pump/res combo like firedfly.  My loop consists of pump->360x64 bottom radiator->480x40 front radiator->360x20.5 top radiator->CPU block->GPU block-> Koolance INS-FM19 flowmeter (w/ ADT-FM03 frequency adapter)->reservoir.  At 100% PMW, the flowmeter indicates the pump is circulating 3100mL/min (186L/hr).

That is adequate flow assuming your meter is accurate.  .5 gallons/minute is about the minimum acceptable flow rate, and pretty much anything above 1 gallon/minute you'll see increasingly diminishing returns.

 

You are right in the middle, so it should be fine as long as your water and component temps are good.

Yup this is what I hook up to my custom loop from the chiller side. Hot loop on one side cold on the other as as you know it's pretty effective. Of course it is a beast @ 60 plates, so much more surface area than this one you posted here.

Grabbed a pair of 360 GTX's for my Plex server, along with some QDC4's. Think I'm going to stick my old 9900k rig into the server and use it with my new 3080ti hydro. That or make a 12900k Plex server, still debating how stupid I want to get.

They were out of stock across almost the entire board when I was shopping.  I got impatient and opted not to wait for them.  They seemed to be reviewed the highest, as a brand, of just about everything out there that I found.

Yeah these were out of stock when I first looked late last year. What did you end up going with? I was probably going to grab some Alphacool rads otherwise, but I kinda hate that blue logo they put on them.
