Congrats, and have fun with that thing (I know you will). Model specs, ie. Watt cooling, lowest temp ?. Also just keep in mind that their transient response can be a bit slow, depending on what is being benched (ie. 4 core vs 16 core). In some such cases, it helps to just 'pre-stress' the PC before the bench you want to run.

I know I know, but it was inevitable...
I'll get you the full specs sheet as soon as I have every last detail, but it is -100°C capable.

That's a great find, @Bastiaan_NL!

Adding to what @J7SC_Orionstated, didn't you have to lube that tube with (e.g.) vaseline?   Or was it just the motherboard? To protect from the frozen condensation (ice) that could build up?

Thanks Jan 😄

There is insulation around the base, and the board needs a good layer of protection. Depending on the level of #aintcare you can use different kind of products.
"lube that tube"  Dirty old man 😂

Sorry, I was wondering what the "s.th." meant. I see that "s.th." in a lot of your posts and have no idea if that is an acronym for something.

I know what you mean by slippery slope, and it absolutely is. 😂

TL:didn't care to go back, I got mx6 too and put it on my 3080ti when I did the waterblock.  Thick enough that it kinda starts clumping when smoothing out but seems to work good.  Course GPU waterblocks work so good anyways it's probably not a fair test.

Normally runs about $3400 plus tax.

I couldn't afford the name brand one, so I went cheap. Arrived yesterday.

If it works, go for it, especially since it's far less expensive 👍

Me, I've had the cheaper E4 with hacked firmware on my wantlist for a few years now and went after the real thing. Now I'll be able to upgrade its firmware via Teledyne.

I'm exorcizing my daemons:

gimbal-2487943.thumb.jpg.1a8f0333917a2dc255cafba6ed90e538.jpg

While I've got an older D810 which still works great as far as stills go, its video capabilities are a bit lacking compared to today's standards. The Nikon Z fc will address that for me, and the Gimbal will take care of stabilization. I also have a fairly extensive collection of non Z Nikon glass that I'll be able to use with this camera with the addition of an adapter.

The camera set is coming from Guam and I bought it through Fred Miranda's Buy & Sell board (got a good deal on it).

Anyway, it'll be useful if I do any more reviews; but what I really wanted it for is to fully document my Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus' Emporium (for the sake of Posterity). If space alien archeologists ever do land on what's left of the Earth in the future, I want them to wonder who D'Jango and Pookie were.

🤪
