Well, the good and the bad of prime day shopping.... (Note that ALL 3 items arrived in tulsa tuesday night at the latest)

First we have the HDMI cables, no issues, then batteries, no issues, but when we get to the big money item, they screw it up.Was prime shipping when ordered, but got changed to later dates with orders placed the next day.🙄Edit: Fire Cube arrived Tuesday 7/18/2023,was shipped in brown paper bag that had torn so they folded/wrapped it all around the cube and used packing tape to hold it closed.Even though the box was torn on 1 corner it was where nothing was in it to be damaged(because packing keeps remote away from bottom of shipping box). While not happy with shipping, everything else is good so I let it slide this time.

only thing I bought on Prime Day was the gift card deal ($55 for $50) and the NR200 for $9.99 (after $30 MIR).

image.png.7e1d88818e382d794993c9566b1ff8de.png

Dunno what I'll use it for but after the MIR and the free $5 promo it worked out to $7.35 after tax ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Ah yea, the prime sale ^

I posted a few weeks back that I got some new tom heads (Remo Emperor) but I was waiting on the 8”.

It arrived a couple days ago but I also ordered from Prime these new type of moon gel from Evans. I tried it on my snare last night but I felt it killed too much of the sound. Replaced it back to the old moon gel.

IMG_0051.thumb.jpeg.0e7c705418d750dbf532592e9069a452.jpeg

Heres the kit with all the heads now installed and tuned.

That's $450 USD worth of fans if they were all new, so that's a great deal. You could resell the ones you don't use at almost the original retail price and make a small profit, or perhaps you do have a use for them all, which would also be great. Hopefully there aren't any issues with them.

I had a Silent Wings 4 120mm (non-Pro) that Be Quiet replaced under warranty because it was making a horrendous squealing noise a couple of months after I installed it, but overall, I like the Silent Wings 4 family of fans. I found them to have the best balance of static pressure and noise levels at low RPMs for my build.

Im not gonna sell them, i will change the ones i have in y case and hope it will be a bit quiter.. Im using now 3x 140 Silent WIngs 3 and 7x Thermalright TL-C12 Pro. Not that im not happy with the combo, but if i can make it better (upgrade it) and got this opportunity it was not possible to resist 😛  And i hope that all the fans will be OK, after a first examination of each i could not see any problem or hear anything.. But i have to put them first in the system.....

B stock for one of these for an old EVGA card still in my closet. The shipping cost more than the block which was $11. Figured might come in handy for HWBot in the future.

I don’t think you realize you’ve just started WWIII…

Now I’m just waiting for an Italian to post a POV of eating a red sauce pasta (e.g., amatriciana) in a classic American car with an all white interior.
