Articles that I create are being marked as Unread

I create a new topic and submit it, it brings me to the topic page, but then for some reason that topic is still marked as Unread for me when there is no replies or anything.

I see what you mean, I am not 100% sure if a bug or a very strange configuration. Will check in with the people over at IPB.

Looked into this, looks like this has been reported elsewhere as a platform bug. Will keep an eye on it, hopefully will be rectified in the latest release

So after speaking with the platform guys, this is to my surprise a way of design, not a bug. I have expressed my opinion that it is counter intuitive behaviour.

 

Will up vote this as a change to the platform. So this may change in a future update, may not. As its a very small thing, I wont dedicate any custom dev time to this as any custom changes made would have to be re-implemented everytime we go through an upgrade which is inefficient.

Nope, now they got back to me again apologizing for some confusion, they now confirmed this as a bug and their investigating
