Sold a defective RX480 for over $100

I question if I should attempt some Nicehashing on my XFX 480 and pretending the x58 960 can actually mine monero pool enough combined to make it worthwhile.  Been sitting on this for a month.  I guess I gotta get it n going or quit thinkin about it.

Otherwise, think I should sell that 480 for some cash? lol

Think it'll go for over 250? I dunno...

brah those mofos are going for almost $400. Sell it or mine it but do something haha. Either way it's burning a hole in your pocket.

Look at this, its nuts, this has 24 bids on it an its already at $400 with a couple hours left before the auction ends. It will probably sell for $500 or more.

Since I just got an RX 6800 for $630 from AMD.com (tried to buy more than one and they canceled my other orders haha) I'm about to sell my 1080Ti used and not only upgrade my GPU to a much faster one but also I'm sure I'll make a profit in doing so. I think my 1080Ti will sell for $8-900.

Oh wow was that random chance or have you been stalking the site? I haven't been looking too hard but I'd live to get a reference 6800XT

No I haven't been stalking the site, but with the pandemic my work is on hold so I'm at home all the time and I often just keep a youtube stream running in the background with GPU inventory alerts and I'll click on the alerts if I get a chance. 

 

I got lucky with AMD.com twice, but the first time I ordered a card so fast that I didn't realize paypal had pulled up an older shipping address and so my order basically is going to get sent back to AMD and refunded because it required valid ID and a signature at the correct address for the package. That time I got a 6900XT. 

Second time I was able to order two RX 6800s but they just canceled one of them and sent me an email about one per customer. That time I could have gotten pretty much any AMD card, but thinking they were all going to end super fast... the RX 6800 was just what I ended up with. Surprisingly that time the window time to be able to get cards on AMD.com that day was like 5 minutes. They seem to have success fighting off bots so you actually get a little breathing room if you are lucky enough to see an AMD.com alert. 

 

Last time it was on a Thursday, I think AMD.com might do drops on Thursdays, could be wrong but maybe stream an alert thing on Thursday and who knows.

They're not hard to find, there are dozens on youtube though I hear twitter and discord has some groups for this that are a little quicker.

Haha don't get too excited. Amd.com is the only luck I've had so far with this alert thing. It can be depressing to miss out on all the other alerts.
