  1. nVidia shouldn't have sponsored this until they can actually supply GPUs. The place I buy hardware from doesn't have any GPUs at all except GT1030s. You can't even pre-order any 20 series or 30 series GPUs. Even most of the 1030s are pre-order. The ones that aren't pre-order are £100+. The only place I can find any 30 series GPUs is on eBay for 50-150% over MSRP.
  2. I've learned how to drift planes now, so that's neat. It works best with the 787 or Cessna 152.
  3. Someone obviously hasn't been paying attention to GPU prices recently. It's a joke. In 2017, I paid £95 for my 7950, the same GPU now is £120-£150. My 2070 that I paid £475 (which was already over RRP at the time) are selling for £650+ I expect 3080Tis to be $1500 from retailers if you can find them, $2000+ on eBay.
  4. When Apple first announced they were switching to ARM with their own silicon, a lot of people were concerned about their current hardware and whether or not Apple will continue to support it. They were vague about it and they didn't give any sort of timeline for how long they're going to continue to support it. My guess of 5 years after the final computer they sell switches over the ARM is based on how they deal with phone/iPad updates. So this does mean that MacOS will still support x86 through to at least MacOS 17 assuming they're not going to stick to MacOS 11 for another 20 years. This is good for people who still want to do Hackintoshes.
  5. Well, Apple say they're going to support x86 for "a while" so I'm guessing they're going to drop x86 support for MacOS 5 years after the last of their computers gets the Apple silicon.
  6. I would not be surprised if the iMac Pro makes a comeback in the next 2 years or so with Apple silicon in them.
  7. I don't think it's 100% decided yet, but 2004ish era Intel CPUs, probably Pentium Ds.
  8. Update is meant to be released on the 11th that includes contrails and a France update.
  9. When I say the A320 uses slightly more fuel than it should be, it should be at around 700-800kg/hr at cruise, it's currently 900-1000kg/hr at cruise so it's not too big of a deal. 787 fuel usage is terrible in the opposite way. At most, it uses 2270kg/hr. Real ones use around 5300kg/hr.
  10. I think those cost more than a penny. Even if it's a shiny one.
  11. There needs to be more Airbuses. Also a 737-Max. All airliners need the fuel usage to be fixed, the A320 uses slightly more fuel than it should and the 787-10 uses significantly less fuel than it should be able to. In real life, the 787-10 can carry enough fuel for about 7 hours of flight, in game it can carry enough fuel for about 77 hours of flight.
  12. The Airbus A320 isn't very nice to me when I land. No matter how smooth the landing is, it always calls me names.
  13. I just found out the world updates don't actually download and install automatically with the game updates. You need to manually download them in the marketplace menu.
