  1. Battery life really depends on the usage. I get 2-3 days out of my iPhone 12, a lot of other people are getting just under a full day.
  2. I hope for AMD users this is a software issue and not a hardware one. I'd have expected the 6800XT to at least come close to the 3080.
  3. We are just talking about that right now ?
  4. I bought a PS3 again. GT5 is okay with a T300RS, the ffb is super weak but it's still there and good enough. It doesn't have native T300RS wheel support though so that's probably why. You do have to use the T500RS profile in order to use it. 0 issues with it with the exception of the weak ffb. It's great with GT6 but that's not really surprising because the T300RS is the official Gran Turismo 6 wheel.
  5. iPhone ? For real, a Pixel 4a might be good. Not sure how much the Pixel 5 is.
  6. Gran Turismo 5 Gran Turismo 6 I bought a PS3 again for these two games. It's amazing how it's a two generation old console using hardware from 2005 and the graphics look like this. Granted, it is cheating slightly by using photomode and rendering in 4K, but still.
  7. I think Jimmy Broadbent is one of the first sim racers that BMW has taken seriously, I'm pretty sure he's driving for BMW now. Not sure what class because he started just before COVID became a world-wide issue. It's how he managed to get access to BMWs simulator In other news that's not very important, I've bought a PS3, GT5 and GT6 now that I have a decent wheel. I'll also finally get to use an SSD in a PS3 now that they're a reasonable price. The last time I had a PS3, a 60GB SSD was around £250-£300 so it really wasn't worth the investment. Now, you can get a 250GB SSD for sub-£25 so I've gone ahead and bought an SSD for it as well. It's a shame the PS3 won't be able to make full use of it. Even the last gen PS3 used SATA 2 so it can't take full advantage of modern SSDs.
  8. Yeah, the entire "map" is 2 petabytes. This is one of the reasons why loading into a new area takes so long the first time. It stores the areas loaded locally for a while, if you don't visit them again it automatically deletes the data downloaded.
  9. And that's what BMW are right about. Some do find the newer Lexus/Toyotas unusual and odd. But there are still people out there who really like them. The same can't be said about the recent batches of BMWs.
  10. I've actually bought up the new BMW designs with non-car people and not a single one of them thought it was good or would consider buying one.
  11. BMW tried to defend thing by saying "When it comes to innovative design, it's very common for some to find it unusual and odd" and they are right in that. Toyota/Lexus as well as Mazda manage to create innovative design that people do like, but some don't. I've not seen a single person outside of BMW yet say any of these new designs are good looking. It's universally hated. The iX is also the first car I've ever seen that has fake fake grilles. I didn't put "fake" in there twice by accident. The fake grilles are fake. Unfortunately, safety equipment is why a lot of cars today look like they do. That along with aerodynamics.
  12. If you can get an emulator working, there's always The Getaway series. https://thegetaway.fandom.com/wiki/The_Getaway_(series) There's only two games though and they're not quite as open as the GTA series and the stories aren't as long, but it's still worth playing imo. It's a shame The Getaway 3 got cancelled because Sony told the developers to focus on Eyetoy games as those were bringing in more money at the time. The Getaway 3 was meant to be set in London, Liverpool and Amsterdam.
  13. I would really like it, but I doubt that will happen. It's a strategy that's been working for them since 2001, I don't see them changing it. Too many people end up buying the game twice that way. Or in the case of GTA V, three times.
  14. A GTA set in London is also something a lot of people want, but Rockstar have said a few years ago that they don't see themselves making a GTA set outside of the US. I would be interested in seeing a GTA set in an Asian country though. The closest we have to that is Sleeping Dogs which isn't quite as good as the GTA franchise.
  15. Not much going on at the moment unsurprisingly, officially the game doesn't even exist but that hasn't stopped the "leaks" and rumours. Existence: TBC Release date: TBA System Requirements: TBA There have been lots of fun rumours about GTA VI. The most credible one imo at the moment is the map location and date set. A couple of years ago, this map was posted on 4chan along with "9teen8t5" (1985). Back then it got dismissed as being nonsense immediately due to the crude drawing, but more recently it does make a lot of sense. It appears to be Miami based along with what appears to be a Cuba based and Bahamas based islands. Now, why I think this is the most credible leak of GTA VI, is it was released 2 years ago. Between then and now, Rockstar have released this image on their website which is heavily inspired by the 1980s artwork from Hajime Sorayama. Around the same time as the map leak, Rockstar released a bunch of vehicles that would fit right in, in 1980s Miami into GTA Online such as the Ubermacht Sentinel Classic (1986 BMW M3), Grotti Cheetah Classic (1984 Ferrari Testarossa), Grotti Tursimo (1987 Ferrari F40), Declasse Tampa (1970 Dodge Dart), Pegassi Torero (1982 Lamborghini Countach) and Ocelot Stromberg (1978 Lotus Esprit). Rockstar have also put out an advert relatively recently looking for bands who play "80s style music". Onto the Cuba part. Back in March. There were rumours of a game from Rockstar set in central America or one of the islands in the Caribbean sea so far just known internally as "Project Americas" Now it's not confirmed if that's an actual thing Rockstar are doing, but given the map leak from 2 years ago that shows it set in map heavily inspired by Miami with an island quite far south east, it does add up. I do think that island is a condensed Cuba given the location as well as Rockstars love for movies. Maybe it's going to have a Scarface inspired story? It does look like they're including a Bahamas style island as well just east of the main island in the leaked map. I do think Rockstar are going to officially announce GTA VI sometime Q2/Q3 2021 given this is exactly how it went down with both GTA V and RDR2. The next 12 months is going to be a lot of fun for fans of the GTA franchise.
  16. If you have to pay a subscription fee to use it, it's still dead on iOS. The main reason why Fortnite is so popular in the first place is because it's free.
  17. Why is it that price though? Is that excluding VAT?
  18. Your performance is about to be Ryzen.
  19. lol Codemasters just killed the series. If PCARS 3 was sold under a different name as a spinoff such as "Project CARS: Shift", I think it would have done a lot better than this. Having less players than PCARS 1 is just embarrassing.
  20. Oh yeah, you can install Windows in Bootcamp and play Windows games on it that way. I think you do need a newer version of MacOS (10.10 I believe) in order to do this.
