  1. Coinbase and Kraken are the best for this sort of thing, I'd recommend Coinbase as they're going to be a public trading company and therefore will be forced to have consumer protection. I personally just went with Uphold (at least for now) because it was the only one that would validate me in a reasonable amount of time, I wanted to get in with the Dogecoin pump and dump before it was too late. I made the right choice because my Coinbase validation email just came through yesterday and it said the ID I provided wasn't good enough. Coinbase does seem to have the best support for offline wallets as well. Given that cryptocurrency has no regulations, you shouldn't consider any coin you bought to actually be yours until it's stored in an offline wallet. As soon as I get my money back after fees, I'm going to cash out on Uphold and move to Coinbase.
  2. I tried Gran Turismo 5 and 6 with this. There's still a lot of work that needs doing before I'd say it's fully usable. I just bought a PS3 for now.
  3. There's rumours that Apple is also planning on buying a ton of bitcoin as well as to start accepting it as payment for products/services. If true, I can actually see bitcoin reaching $60K by the end of the year.
  4. I put all of my money in Dogecoin and then bitcoin and ethereum.
  5. I hope these won't be ridiculously priced. I would like one so I can play newer games maxed at 4K. I thought my 2070 would be good for a while, but it actually struggles with newer games, even RDR2. I can only get 30fps medium settings in that.
  6. They are just spamming the internet with different very specific forums. I have seen a forum from them for the 2020 Kawasaki Z250.
  7. No moderators on this list ? BREAK ALL THE RULES!* *Don't actually break the rules.
  8. As it turns out, there's not much of a difference as far as PPD goes between my 1600 and 5800. I am in as well.
  9. Ayyy, I forgot about folding. I'm having a go at folding on my CPU this time so I can see what sort of PPD I can get from it. I got 26,000 PPD from my R5 1600. I am also folding with my GPU as well because that's the most efficient.
  10. 23K dogecoin because I am a idiot.
  11. Andrew

    5800x temps?

They're fine up to 95c. I have a 212 Evo on mine and the highest I've seen is 85c in prime95 with 19c ambient. In gaming, the highest I've seen is 73c (Flight Sim 2020)
  12. I actually agree with this law. What's currently happening, is Google is showing bulk of the articles on the Google search. When they do this, the places hosting the information aren't getting paid for it. Searching for "covid 19" is a great example of this. None of this is from Google as stated by the sources at the bottom. Google is just displaying info from this websites, without paying them. This is effectively piracy. Realistically, after seeing that, how many do you really think click on the source links? A proper solution to this is to either pay the hosts what they would have got if someone clicked on the link or just remove this information so you have to click on the links in order to see the information. The problem with this law is the amount of money the news outlets in Australia want for this type of data to be shown on Google. They want obscene amounts of money that's way more than they would have got if people clicked went on it.
  13. The 1080Ti is by no means a bad GPU, it's still more than capable for 4K as well as VR. The only thing it's really lacking is real time ray tracing at a decent frame rate.
  14. Temporarily abandoned. I don't have anywhere warm to work on it, plus I the rear seat backrest has a bolt that's stuck, it turns but it doesn't come out so I need to pry it out somehow. I've also been busy basically all of summer. I did get some wheels for it so I have a better tyre choice, but they don't fit over the brakes without spacers and with spacers, they stick out an illegal amount so I have to get rid of those wheels now. I think I'll just stick to stock.
  15. Computers to cars seems to be the natural progression. Although I went from cars to computers back to cars. I wouldn't even know what hardware I'd have if it weren't for my sigrig. Nice, I thought those came with an LSD stock?
  16. Couple of weeks ago. I got it under retail price as well.
  17. You should have a look at Ace Combat, it's MGS but with fighter jets.
  18. My flight sim is broken now. Didn't get a chance to try it out in VR. Official planes aren't listed to be used and my game crashes when I try to select an airport to take off using one of the mod planes I have installed. I verified game cache and that just made me redownload the entire game again, same problem so I uninstalled it because it was taking up 108GB. I have the Valve Index by the way. It's the only VR I have experience with.
  19. Apparently the VR update released last month, I'm about to try it out.
