Wonder what the specs still be. It still amazes me that the ps4 was able to do vr at all.

Haven't tried expanding the games cache yet. I'll definitely have to do that. Sorry if I mentioned this before but have you discovered that you can set engine failure parameters? I did a 747 flight where 30 minutes into the flight the engines started to fail one by one until only one engine was left and I was able to land with only one engine. Pretty neat stuff.

So after ryzen 5000 the next CPUs will be ddr5? Or is it possible the lower end CPUs with less cores are still DDR4? I was hoping to get a little more of an upgrade path from my new B550 motherboard.

I actually found a geforce 660 2gb and listed that on ebay. Normally it would be worth maybe $20 now but it's already got bids up to ~$40 and there are still about 5 days left in the auction. Not a lot of money but still selling for more than it should be.

I just put 1K into apple stock. Seemed like a good time to buy (on the dip).

Right, I guess just in my mind the ram part the hyperX brand is the only part of value so it seems like a weird acquisition

So not memory? The only thing I've ever bought that had the hyperX brand was memory.

A while back (before the mining surge) I met a guy who had tried to setup a mining rig with RX480 8GBs and failed to figure out what he was doing so eventually he sold all the GPUs to me. I sold them all on ebay for about $90 each at the time. All of the sales went smoothly except for one which was sent back as defective. I tested it before shipping it so it much have taken shipping damage. Anyway, today I got around to listing the defective RX480 on ebay as "for parts/not working" with a buy it now price of $110 plus shipping and it sold within about an hour. So basically I sold a defective RX480 for more today than I sold the exact same card for in working condition about a year+ ago. Just thought that was interesting. On top of that, these cards are selling for about $400 used/working now. Hard to believe if I had waited to sell those cards for a year they would have sold for 4 times the price.

When I say this thread my first thought was "what does it mean by prints?". Now I am super jealous. Next time I have some dickin around money this will be on the top of the list of things to use it on.

Titles are a little longer on the forums page but still many are cut off. I think the titles should be longer (smaller font or just allow titles to take up two rows) for both.

And I just bought a 500 series board... Just my luck.

A load more button would be great. I took a few minutes to make a alternative layout suggestion for the homepage. I made 2, one with 10 rows and one with 20. The threads are just stretched out in my edit, but if the layout were like this it would allow for more room for titles. I noticed the titles for the podcasts tend to be quite long as well so moving that to the bottom would allow for even more room for titles for those. Moving them to the bottom would also mean you don't have to line it up with the other sections that show ten rows since you probably only really need to list the more recent two or three podcasts. Moving the scrolling section to the bottom also helps break up the filler part of the site which I think makes it more digestible to a wondering eye.

No I mean instead of seeing 10 threads in the latest section and news section, there could be 20 threads visible in those sections on the homepage.

Just bought a 3700x after seeing one pop up on ebay for a decent price. Now I need to find a mobo for it. I'm not too familiar with AMD, this will be my first time using AMD for my personal computer. Looking for something that: can do some light overclocking, but as I understand ryzen 3000 doesn't OC much anyway so doesn't need to be high end. Has two m.2 slots and PCIe 4.0 Has room for two PCIe cards (sound card and bluetooth 5.0 card) That's pretty much it. I've seen a couple ASrock boards that are cheap and have two m.2 slots but I've never owned an ASrock board before as I've always thought of them as being a little too cheap. Any suggestions or info would be much appreciated!

Just bought a 3700x used on eBay for $260 ($280 with tax). Now I need to find a decent budget motherboard. This means I'll be selling my delidded 7700k and mobo, if anyone is interested.

I can't understand why someone would choose chrome OS over windows though. The only people I've ever met with a chrome book received them as gifts from their grandparents who thought they were normal windows computers.
