  1. Looking at the last snapshot of the Wayback Machine before it was taken down, there are no source files on the github page... which should be a red flag. There is a source.zip file in releases, but that's another red flag.
  2. GitHub - qarmin/czkawka: Multi functional app to find duplicates, empty folders, similar images etc. GITHUB.COM Multi functional app to find duplicates, empty folders, similar images etc. - GitHub - qarmin/czkawka: Multi functional app to find... You can delete all dupes, but being the sceptic I am, I still go through files individually.
  3. Will this be exclusive to printers or all their devices? I have a Dymo label maker. (I should have paid the extra coin for a Brady)
  4. I'm guessing the game franchises they've bought recently will also require a MS account to play.
  5. Cause I wanted that cool OCN folding@home badge. Didn't everybody? But I prefer Boinc.
  6. The hardware that you guys are talking about not being supported by Windows 11 isn't even the problem. First generation Ryzen isn't supported by Windows 11. It's not really that "old" when considering it's performance. It's all related to TPM.
  7. I've gotten email's from some companies recently stating price increases. Here's a clip of one Not upset at the company itself, just the condition that we are in, when it partly could have been avoided.
  8. I used to have one of those, I think it was $199 new, I replaced it with a 9700Pro. Don't have the 8500LE anymore, but I still have the 9700Pro.
  9. And add another 10% just to cover the massive inflation that has occurred over the past year.
  10. If you're testing compression by only turning a breaker bar....you need to do a lot cranking.
  11. I don't see why Microsoft can't include the "check box" for receiving only security updates on the Home edition. I don't use Windows...I just don't understand why everyone else that complains about Windows still does.
  12. If security was the real goal for forcing updates, Microsoft would enable the option to only choose "security updates" on the Home Edition....but they don't.

    It's HERE!

CPU's sold without coolers doesn't seem to be an issue.

    It's HERE!

The only thing I would like is... to be able to buy a GPU without a cooler. I'm putting a waterblock on it anyway..so why do I have to pay for a cooler that I'm going to remove, and put in the room with the rest of my old parts and never find it again.
  15. It's not your computer.....Microsoft is just nice enough to let you use it.

What the hell did I just watch?
  17. Brave is based on Chromium, you might be able to check in about:flags and search for "webgl". I don't know if it's configurable or not. Nothing is as configurable as Firefox.
  18. I'm guessing there is always a "promise" that they can maintain control and have artistic freedom, but seriously....after a year or two, those in charge will be pushed out and forced to move to another studio or start a new one.
  19. Since Metal is getting posted.....
  20. I haven't had any problems, but I've never tried to return anything. I used to buy all my parts from NewEgg....I guess I won't be buying anything else. Now I buy from either Amazon or Microcenter.
  21. Yes....lets consolidate everything down to 2 or 3 companies and add some vendor lock-in for good measure. I'm sure it will be Great!
  22. In Firefox's about:config set webgl.disabled to true. Problem solved.
  23. Never heard of these guys before.... if I heard this on the radio, I would have thought it was Korn.
