  1. Won't look much changed from how it does right now. Though in 3 days time when the 24 avg's catch up, I'll wager it'll look something like Bastiaan Avacado CptAsian Just a guess though
  2. Nice setup. I don't CPU fold either. You've seen most of these. Main rig in the office. Backup folder/miner and arguably nicer than my main. And the 2 open air problem children.
  3. Lar.systems has a good statistical comparison on cards. Linux vs windows. 3090s benefit the most running under linux https://folding.lar.systems/gpu_ppd/overall_ranks
  4. That has been the biggest issue for me. Works good on integrated, ties up a slot on my amd. Though I bought 2 710 cards just to run display and they work on a 1x riser. They will run fine. Also, they are passively cooled, make sure they get plenty of airflow. I bought the blower coolers off ebay and they work great, not cheap, but great.
  5. I am sure you will find the right board. As for the ppd. I can't say. I'm sure you created a pass key? I would use hfm to validate the competed wus.
  6. Irving (Canadian) Tradesman bench. Been looking for a second, but they are hard to come by here.
  7. Was going to clear cmos, had a tiny flathead in there and lost my balance (it was 1 am) put too much pressure on it and one side snapped off. Looked like one side was still attached and some of the prong of the snapped lead was still there. Might regret super gluing it, but if I have to solder, I'd rather try this first.
  8. Well, i'm screwed, somehow managed to break off the CMOS battery holder on the Zenith Extreme. I'm so effed. I ordered a replacement and will try to solder it, but damnit!
  9. Well, done for the night. I know 3 of the 5 work, and I needed a longer 16x extention that I had to order, so 2x1x in the meantime. Anyway. Trying to get this figured before the tourney or else bastiaan will blow me out of the water.
  10. Welcome Ganja! Sup Teddy Brosevelt.
  11. Yes for sure. The asus zenith extreme is a beast. Has 2 aux 8 pin 12v and a molex below the 6th pcie slot. I am actually swapping everything right now!
  12. I had nothing but problems with the 1AS rock board that I bought 2nd hand
  13. Yep, that's the ThermalFake S8S copy.
  14. Couldn't help myself, bought a Radeon R9 295X2. What the heck, similar to a 1660 and GPUs on one card. Maybe it will work out.
  15. Also, try looking at Radeon R9 295X2 or r9 Fury's. they are decently priced used and similar to a 1660. Thats what I've also been looking at.
  16. Yea I suppose, no matter what I did, they were just disabled in the FaH client. I tried everything. I will try one last time to put them in a Threadripper build before selling the last 3 cards. The K80 and M40 drivers are the same ones. I even downloaded the separate CUDA drivers to no avail.
  17. No, don't do K80's I bought 5 and regret it, they are going back up for sale. Could not get them to fold or mine worth a damn. The mining rig on the left has 3 k80s in it. If it's folding you want, then I promise you want M40's. 1 million PPD. the K80's maybe around 300k @300w
  18. If you do end up getting any you WILL need this adapter cable. Maybe not 20 of them. Tesla have CPU pin-out 8 pin plugs, not PCI-e plugs. https://www.ebay.com/itm/20PCS-NVIDIA-dual-8-to-8-Power-Adapter-Cable-Tesla-K80-M40-Grid-M60-P40-P100-GPU-/324334745617
  19. Try these guys maybe you can pay extra for int shipping if you buy a few https://www.ebay.com/itm/900-2G600-0000-001-NVIDIA-TESLA-M40-PG600-12GB-GDDR-GPU-/133496352855
  20. This one doesn't specifically say no international shipping. The one for 119 did though. https://www.ebay.com/p/28037114145
  21. If you don't mind the power consumption (250w) there are Tesla M40's on ebay for 119$ plus shipping that put out about 1 million PPD. You will need 2xPCI-e to 1x CPU splitter cables. Really eats up PCI-e PSU slots. I have to use a 1600w AND a 1000w for 5 of them just to have enough PCI-e plugs for them all. They don't use nearly that much.
  22. Ha! no, no unsuccessful runs.
