    Well done Rachel!
  2. Meet the newest member of the family. All the way from the Rhineland. With linky to PCB creators compatibility charts. The interesting parts I am concerned with. "Aparently Threadrippers 60 Lanes can be configured very flexible, however with the limitation of a total of 7 links." Should work well with what you have coming as well @ENTERPRISE "For several generations Intel (on its 28 and 40 Lane CPUs) has supported x16, x8x8, x8x4x4, x4x4x8 and x4x4x4x4 as well as x8 and x4x4 configurations." https://peine-braun.net/shop/index.php?route=information/information&information_id=7
  3. Gotcha, so the top mounted rad won't effect caseflow.
  4. I really like the idea, but try to imagine case flow here. You will have how many intakes below? 3? and 9 exhaust fans with filters. Would create a negative pressure system within your case, starving the 1080 of cool air flow. I would propose the 1080 on top as intake with filters and case fans as exhaust. Would cool your components and create positive pressure in your case, helping to keep out dust.
  5. Good plan. So is the 1080 going to be exhaust then?

There we go. Seeing that is the same as a Xanax. I lucked out, all the X399 boards have on/reset switches directly on the board.
  7. Yea I saw the structured list you made on OCN. Again, a TON of work. Move me to the bottom of the list. It sounds like a summer project with my son when I have time off work.
  8. @ENTERPRISE Not 100% certain, but it looks like the GTX980Ti/Titan X waterblock will fit the M40's. I would absolutely love to make a massive watercooling project out of them, but the damn waterblocks cost more than the cards. See Below https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32967113974.html https://www.performance-pcs.com/water-cooling/water-blocks/water-blocks-vga/watercool-heatkiller-iv-xl-for-gtx-980-ti-and-titan-x-pure-copper-ni-wc-15562-d.html
  9. Do testers end up with a free sample of the Ice Giant? Seems like a lot of free effort on the part of enthusiasts only to help a business make their product more efficient. I would try it on the 2950x, but from what I gather it would be a few hours of work.
  10. Thats the best part about basements, they don't need AC.
  11. Hard as I tried, I can't find it listed. Looks like it is really EOL. This is the blitz kit I was talking about. https://www.performance-pcs.com/water-cooling/watercooling-fluids/watercooling-fluids-additives/mayhems-blitz-pro-cleaning-system-mbk1.html This is the Mayhems clear. https://www.performance-pcs.com/water-cooling/watercooling-fluids/watercooling-fluids-additives/mayhems-x1-coolant-1-liter-clear-mx1c1l.html The MMM Clear is of Mayhems design (Mayhems created the formula) and is very good for less. This is my recommendation for clear coolant. https://modmymods.com/modmymods-modwater-pc-coolant-clear-1-liter-mod-0275.html I will work in a few L of mayhems white if you wish when I calculate the Octo. Just let me know. Do know that I have had the pastel White turn opaque on a few occasions. Not sure why.
  12. I don't unfortunately. All RAM is spoken for. Most of the Mayhems is Pastel White, that has been discontinued for XTR. The MMM clear was because there was no Mayhems XT-1 clear when I needed it. I might not ever use the white pastel. I suspect that aluminum loop will probably cool within 10c of the copper.
  13. Go ahead with the questions. I'll figure out the Octo later tonight.
  14. As my man Tic suggested, that is a great solution. Only consider an Octo or Quadro if you value the aqua computer software. It is fantastic. Just let me know. Gonna upload a video for ya.
  15. Just so happens I have a brand new Octo if you are interested. Same deal as before, not looking to profit. Let me know.

P.S. If I ever head to New Orleans, and I will, you better believe i'm coming to say hi to the 1080. And if ya'll are ever in the mountains here, you should come check out the dungeon.

GJ Rachel! "Rachel, what did you do?"
  21. It's the gucchi bag of Fan/LED/Pump/Reporting control. https://www.performance-pcs.com/fans-accessories/fan-control/aquacomputer-octo-fan-controller-for-pwm-fan.html
  22. Should highly consider a Quadro or Octo. You won't regret it.
