  1. but it's Google Check Our Coverage In Your Favorite Places - Google Fi FI.GOOGLE.COM Learn about our wireless network coverage to see if your favorite spots are covered with Google Fi. Get more information on Fi coverage here. their unlimited plan is unlimited but it throttles to 256kb/s after 50GB
  2. is TMobile the only carrier you can use? figure out if it's an issue with tower congestion or the provider. If it's the provider, then try someone else who uses TMobile towers? I have Fi and they use TMobile/Sprint/US Cellular towers, never had an issue with them and I get better download speeds through them than my wired (Spectrum) internet. seems easier if nothing else
  3. don't change the subject, we're on you and your misdeeds
  4. me and damric are the only righteous ones
  5. Paid $100 in March for mine on eBay the core already wasn't 100% finishing benchmarks at the clocks I was running. I could play with LOD but it's not going to be enough to climb any places. ill say it again for the people in the back: yall 12th genners are the worst Plex transcoding, it's why I bought mine. HWBOT was just a bonus until you lot ruined things
  6. starting to really dislike yall 12th genners
  7. let me know how the gimp fan does
  8. join the Windows Server club If there isn't a specific feature that's keeping you from one or the other, try out both? use it as an excuse to setup a ProxMox box
  9. @iamjanco12900KS please, he bully me

  11. ImDisk Toolkit download | SourceForge.net SOURCEFORGE.NET Download ImDisk Toolkit for free. Ramdisk for Windows and mounting of image files. This tool will let you mount image files of hard drive, cd-rom or floppy, and create one or several ramdisks with various parameters... Plex recommends size of the source + 100MB but you can give it less. 8GB should be plenty for most people. Transcoder | Plex Support SUPPORT.PLEX.TV Transcoder settings related to your Plex Media Server. You can access these under Settings > Server > Transcoder in Plex...
  12. swapping a PCB is easier than swapping platters but you'd need to find a PCB from an identical drive with only SATA and pretty sure you won't. I found this: G-Drive E3330BM G_SLIM_JMS578 REV. 1.0 141006 Board PCB Controller USB 3.0 E30 WWW.EBAY.COM G_SLIM_JMS578 REV 1.0 141006 (Printed on the circuit board). Location: E30. all original parts and accessories. Parts are not to be removed or swapped. We scan all bar-codes on hard drives and PCB's... but you'd need a male to male USB cable and it'd make more sense just to get another drive at that price (and assuming it'd even work).
  13. what's the sticker on the drive say? it just looks like a white label WD drive (aka SATA) but if the USB connector is soldered you're SOL.
  14. the drive inside the enclosure is SATA, the enclosure converts it to USB. you're then wanting to convert that to SATA. that's SATA to USB to SATA. Watch the video I linked, I even put in a timestamp to the relevant part.
  15. it likely doesn't exist. it doesn't make sense to convert a SATA -> USB -> SATA. even if it did exist, you're not going to fit it inside a laptop shuck the drive.
  16. shuck it or buy one of these internal USB 3.0 to USB female adapters
  17. if you want a monitor you should be able to get something decent and have some left over considering it doesn't need to be high refresh rate. 60hz panels are relatively cheap. get a monitor and something else. headphones? keyboard?
  18. then just spend $50 more and get a 12600K or settle for MCE $399 < $500 MSI MEG Z690I UNIFY DDR5 LGA 1700 Mini ITX Intel Motherboard - Newegg.com WWW.NEWEGG.COM Buy MSI MEG Z690I UNIFY DDR5 LGA 1700 Intel Z690 SATA 6Gb/s Mini ITX Intel Motherboard with fast shipping and top-rated customer service. Once you know, you Newegg! I win the internet today
  19. now they need to run Firestrike on the IGP and see how it scales
  20. ...why 11th? 11th gen sucks. get a cheaper locked 12th gen i3 or i5 and BCLK OC. then slap a used 12700K/12900K in it when 13th gen launches.
  21. the Meshify 2 can take 120s or 140s up top, the issue isn't with there being no mounting holes/rail. Fractal even lists both 120 and 140 fans and radiators being supported up top, read the link I posted and look at the product page. The Meshify S2 and 2 (and R7?) have a radiator bracket up top that's removable. You use the outer rail (the rail closest to the side panel) and the middle rail for 120 radiators and you use the two outside rails for 140s. The inner rail makes your rad sit closer to the motherboard so you'll hit your VRM and RAM if you don't have low profile RAM. If your RAM is >36mm (Google says your kit is) then you can't run a 140, 280, or 420 up top. Even if your RAM is <36mm, you'll still likely hit your VRM heatsinks.
