Ok... bragging time... No Crash the whole time with 3 pc's in the house folding ? So, I'm curious... Who else can say they did not have one single system crash the whole time? before anyone says, "hey you stopped early!"... nah, I switched identities, and actually kept on folding till this morning.... so far my longest folding with out crash record is 1 week 3 days, no crash, just wanted to play some games.... now when I had a vega card.... I had crashes daily... never figured out why.

@Bastiaan_NL as it turns out... you can't sell used kidneys on ebay... and for whatever reason I can't seem to find new ones... ?

As far as I can tell based on the charts you are correct... but like Bastiaan_NL I was thinking it was 5 days at first. on another note, if this may be useful to someone... I haven't been running at full power even now... limited to 85w on my 3900x (300k ppd avg so far) and reduced power on my 5700xt, netting close 1.2m ppd average up to this point... now, if I unleashed this cpu to stock... it'll go up to about 350k ppd... with PBO limits set to mother board limits (200w) it has gotten up to 400k, but you see how the power consumption jumps way faster than ppd... gpu has a little left in the tank... but folding doesn't really push the power limit much... but I could get about 10% more out of it by unleashing it... TLDR... it really doesn't gain much by pushing hard, I'd just set a reasonable limit and leave it lol.

PSA: If you have been folding since the start and your systems haven't crashed yet, they are stable. That is all, have a great day.

Silly question... Is the 12 units a day based on average or do we have to hit at least 12 each day... I ask because I want to change my system over to my son's username to help him reach the 12 per day average.... I realize I waited a little late to ask ?

hmm... may just do that... it's an old rig, but at the same time, that old 6850 should be dead by now anyway... it was a very punished card back when she gamed on that system... before her health went down, she spent more time playing Dirt 2 and TDU2 than I did.

oh don't worry, I came to my senses pretty quick... still, her system is only there for access to old files and retro games mostly... probably would be ok... but not going to pay 200$ for an upgrade to a 10+ year old pc

yeah, mining and shortages have really increased used prices... I've seen my exact model card (Gigabyte gaming OC 5700XT) selling used for twice what I paid for it new... and some completed new listings reached 1399 USD.... spotted a used rx580 for sale on ebay a minute ago... 200$... and actually thought about buying it for my wife's old rig, which is still running a 6850HD

An FX system is why I have the extreme cooling setup I have now... ever cpu folded with an FX clocked to 5.2 ghz?... I did by accident, didn't know the client would auto start when installed... was planning on just folding on my 7950's

Interesting... May not be gpu then... But, still it's a possibility... Folding isn't easy on hardware ?

Betting gpu crash... That card wasn't stable enough at 2150mhz as I recall... You might could turn the fans up to hair dryer and make it stable.... I don't even have mine oc'd at the moment... Just power limit maxed out...

@Imports_R32 may be a bit warm on the CPU, but nothing unexpected with that cooler... Your vrm temps are good considering the crowd of wires in that case... And gpu temps are pretty normal for that card... Don't compare your temps to mine, they are not normally as low as mine are... Rather compare to others with air cooling and I think you'll feel better... Until you put that side panel on ?... Then the ? heat is on.

lol you'd have a hard time with cable management in that case if you were an expert with 100 years experience... I think you did well for what you were trying to work with there

don't blame you... better than what I did to my case.... carve on it. @Avacado I'm trying to help him out here a bit... but on my wife's old PC I'm having the same trouble with her radeon 6850HD as you are with the Tesla M40's... wierd part... it's the active gpu so I know it's working... any ideas, let me know... maybe too old?

I noticed some interesting divisions showing in the stats... the untouchables at the top... you and Bastiaan_NL... then a group of 3 titans followed by us normal mainstream folks with a slow smooth transition from high end to low end with me sitting right in the middle of mediocrity ?. I know there are some who are "holding back"... and could likely catch up to the "untouchables" quickly if they wanted Oh... for those who didn't know, and to embarrass him a little... Imports_R32 is my son ?... he'd be right up there just behind me if he hadn't shown up late... he has the exact same GPU and only a slightly slower CPU Edit: Imports, post a pic of your rig ?
