    FINALLY found time to get coilovers wrapped up for the Alltrack; I've had parts sitting around for months. Gives it much more of a sports car feel: far stiffer than stock but not really harsh, and at least an inch and a half lower iirc. Still getting quite a bit of roll, but that's probably due to the tall tire sidewalls. Massively less pitch under acceleration now. Love the way it looks too. Next are wheels, tires, and catback, but all of those will take a while to ship since I got 'em on Black Friday so they're on low stock.

    Hmmm, interesting. I'll probably give it some time and see what more people think. That'll give me more time to forget about what exactly happens as well, so watching again would be more interesting.

    Keeping the spoiler policy in mind, did anyone else watch F1 yesterday? I think that's the biggest emotional rollercoaster I've ever experienced in this series.

    Read that these were coming some weeks ago, and I'm glad to hear you weren't disappointed. I watched the extended version of both trilogies earlier this year and really enjoyed them, so I'm interested in the 4K versions for sure.

    Yeah, I'm happy with them. Cheap, look good, and they have a pretty much negligible effect on the lighting and cooling performance.

    Other plans I had for tonight fell through so I went ahead and added the new stuff tonight, including a fan controller, fan grilles, and a kayak handle. Quite pleased with the outcome. The whites of the fans, GPU, and RAM don't match in person but they look great in pictures. Only thing I'm waiting for at this point is sleeved cables.

    "Will post more pics when it's all set up tonight or tomorrow night," he lied. Whoops. Got some more bits and bobs for the Q300L build in the mail a couple days ago, so hopefully when I got some time this weekend I'll re-cable some things and take a before and after.

    Ooh, this reminds me, I should have some new headphones arriving tomorrow that I snagged with a Black Friday deal. Will post if I remember (but historically I've been pretty crap with that.)

    Doesn't seem to be available right now, but I got a Thrustmaster T-Flight HOTAS X less than a year ago iirc for $50 on Amazon to use with Elite Dangerous. Not sure if it will come back in stock, and if it does I dunno if the price will be inflated due to demand. Might be worth poking around for one on other stores or on the used market, but I know it's a really solid and widely recommended entry-level HOTAS. I quite enjoyed using it while I still played ED regularly, great bang for the buck.

    Saw this a couple days ago. Sad to see, but I wonder if they'll try to reuse what's left and rebuild or start fresh on this site or another one with modern tech and designs throughout.

    I think I've gotten something similar. My guess is the page loads and auto-scrolls you to the first unread post as it should, and then loads a bunch of images, which pushes the bottom of the page down again so you're looking at the wrong thing. The page doesn't re-adjust to focus on the first unread post again, so you're left looking at some random image a couple posts up the page. Again, just a guess.

    It was indeed just a simple case of wiggling the RAM, as my friends call it. Remove all sticks, re-insert one at a time, no issues. Missing some fan splitters that should show up today, but I was able to get enough fans running for it to operate at acceptable temps while folding, so we're back up to normal. Will post more pics when it's all set up tonight or tomorrow night.
