  1. I mean it's all on that page. tl;dr: new higher quality keyboard from GMMK to add to their lineup that previously used to just be 60%/TKL/full. It's a 75% with lots features in addition to the previous offerings.
  2. GMMK Pro was recently announced and has been making waves: https://www.pcgamingrace.com/blogs/news/introducing-gmmk-pro
  3. Are there any plans for this, including a Wanted/For Sale section and an Online Deals section primarily? I figure it wouldn't be a top priority since it's not the most straightforward thing when it comes to trading, so I was just wondering if there were some longer-term ideas for it.
  4. Indeed, I've somewhat randomly gone back and played both Division games some recently, and they really have changed quite a bit since release. Been very refreshing to see.
  5. Agreed. The way they marketed it didn't really improve the situation much for themselves either. "We wanted to improve the experience by focusing on the racing, so we removed pit stops and tire wear." I... what?
  6. Personally I agree with this 100%. In regards to the original question though, I also don't really ever access the homepage. I'm either looking at the full forum listing or my subscribed or unread thread lists. Because I'm used to browsing that way, I think if this feature is added, I'd like to be able to turn it off like you mentioned we'd be able to, so I'm happy either way.
  7. Man, every time someone brings up the thought of a new dual GPU card, I'm all for it, that'd be awesome, but I wouldn't buy one. Had my fun with my 7990. AMD's and Nvidia's last dual GPU cards were what, the 295x2 and Titan Z respectively? Been a while. (Side note, how do I stop the editor from automatically turning that x into a multiplication sign between numbers? There are a lot of neat little features like that in the post editor but some of them are intrusive in my opinion.)
  8. Interesting, thanks for the info. That's good stuff to take into consideration.
  9. Barrier for entry into 3D printing is actually pretty low in the grand scheme of things. The Ender 3 is typically the go-to budget/entry-level printer and it goes for $200-250. Very capable, healthy print volume, but it just doesn't have an "luxury" features to keep it simple. And in some ways, you could argue that's a good thing, as it forces you to learn to do some things manually from the start. Really easy to learn how to set up, but if you want to make your own designs, getting CAD sorted is another story. If you're familiar with CAD though and have some software at your disposal, you can just save as an .stl and you're good to go, extremely simple.
  10. Sweet! I'd love to do a printed RC car eventually. I'd have a great time trying to design custom parts, only to realize they probably aren't as good haha. How much did the electronics cost you for a fully functioning car?
  11. I set up a content stream for unread threads that I follow and saved it as my default stream, so I have a button for it right next to the "mark site read" button and that's worked fine for me once I figured out how to set it up. Not super intuitive if I'm honest, and I'm usually good with that sort of stuff, but E may have made a guide for it that I missed. Otherwise, yes, I have noticed that the red notification is for sitewide unread, and it updates with a delay, usually after every few threads I read it will tick down accordingly.
  12. Should be closer to 8.5 or 9, power in my apartment went out about 10 minutes after I walked out the door and I didn't get back for 12 hours, so that's why I had such a crap day once last week. Hopefully by the end of the month I'll have another rig running with the 1070 Tis. A few plans have changed and I need confirmation on something (that I'll hopefully get tonight) and I just have too many other things that are higher on my priority list right now. I saw earlier you said you have plans to increase your production by what, 6M PPD!? That doesn't bode well for my attempt at taking the top EHW spot, haha.
  13. Reminder on the one-week spoiler policy for this thread. Edited the OP to add a line on that as well. In regards to F1 and Nascar from last weekend: F1: Nascar:
  14. Alright so it's been a hot minute and not only did I forget about this thread, but I also went idle with my printer for a few months. Got back up and running last week and I'm having some annoying issues. Almost seems like my bed is warped; either my bed is too close to the extruder in the center and has good adhesion in the surrounding area, or the first few layers aren't squished in the center but the first two or three layers a little bit outside of that don't stick. Any new 3D printers join EHW with the recent influx of members? Suggestions? I did successfully print Leia's blaster for a friend as a Halloween costume prop but never got a picture of it before I gave it to her.
  15. That's some genuinely impressive dust buildup. Glad you got the opportunity to tidy up a bit.
  16. I like that idea as well, quite unique and it's still productive without costing anybody anything. I'd be willing to trade off some computing power too, so we can alternate months or something like that.
  17. Also very interested in third party reviews, though I am also curious about exactly how much of a difference Rage and SAM make, so hopefully some reviewers will go to that level of detail and provide performance in a few of those cases. I do think they're worth considering though, as quite a few people that are lining up a GPU upgrade are also interested in moving up to Zen 3.
  18. Not pre-ordering games is also one of my personal game purchasing rules. Tends to save money in the long run and typically the super egregious bugs are sorted by a year or so after release, at the latest.
  19. They have a ways to go before they reach Star Citizen levels though. Actually though, I've said this every other time it's been delayed, but I'm glad they're doing this over releasing something half-baked in a rush. They have delayed quite a few times now though and the game's gotta come out eventually...
  20. I'm very interested in what pricing will look like for AIB cards and what availability will be all across the board. Also interested in how much of an impact that VRAM difference vs the 2080 Ti will have at 1440p and 4K on higher texture settings.
