I am all for tech and advancements. However even if these are blistering fast, I just think you will end up getting diminishing returns. For your average "Gamer" , or anything other than say heavy database usage/other memory intensive tasks you are not going to notice the benefit of the additional throughput. Sure, on synthetic benchmarks I am sure you can get some sweet numbers, but in real world I think you would be disappointed, especially with the cost of the tech.

I agree and its a good point out. Lot's of parents are using "Digital" parenting and placing kids in front of a screen of some sort and calling it a day, this will not help. But as you say, I think parents allow kids to play all sorts of games, irrespective of their content matter. In fact I am willing to bet most of it is ignorance. Kid comes in and asks for a game, parent just buys it, end of. If more parents did a little more due diligence on what the game is about, the subject matter and the rating, then we would find younger minds playing games that are a little more suitable.

Games don't kill people, people do. I have never understood the link between game violence and actual violence. However perhaps im just not impressionable or suffer from a mental disorder that allows for decision making to be altered extensively by outside factors. Im still a believer that people for whatever reason have an underlying need/want to kill and when it happens the perpetrator/those affected use gaming as a scapegoat. Whether it be grief that causes people to use games as something to pin the blame to, or use as a cash machine for suing I guess would have to be judged on a case by case basis. Either way, Call of Duty or similar cannot be blamed just because they have shooting and guns. People are the problem, not entertainment. Education,nurture & support is key to a well balanced individual.

It will be at LEAST that price for the base cards/founders. I Reckon the AIB cards will be astronomical.

Is it bad that when I saw the title, I was was hoping for a funny video of someone writing off a mailbox ? Anyway, have you considered Reolink ? I have there Camara's setup and I have one watching over my garden and it is really responsive.

Hello all. As some of you may know, EHW runs on the IPS software suite (Invision Community). They will soon be releasing IPS 5.0 of the software which is considered a major release, and with that there will come functional changes to the site because of this. I will not outline all of the changes that the new platform will bring (such as standard performance updates etc), but I will list below any items that will directly affect the community. There is no confirmed release date as of yet and once it is known, I will update this topic. This topic is to allow the community to be made aware of the upcoming changes, just so they do not come as a shock. It goes without saying that before EHW rolls out the new software, we will be doing some testing to ensure that we can squash any bugs/unwanted behaviours. Thanks for the comments guys. Right now I think it is a toss up between the Thermalright HR-10 Or This less well know, but evidently one hell of a contender, the NewHail NH1 It does really well in THIS review, though not surprised as it has 3x direct contact heatpipes.
