  1. Depending on the dev time scale, I am not opposed to a temporary solution but I will see. If it becomes something that is of real need, I will do it, otherwise I would rather wait. I was going to say I did not think you were from Russia lol.
  2. Im interested to see how all the probes go with respect to this purchase, lots of people concerned by it. Oh and yes Nvidia and anything open...yeah no lol.
  3. Have to say DLSS 3 plus all these new shading/techniques and engines make me even happier about my recent GPU purchase, just means that very possibly there may be more life to eek out of a GPU.
  4. Probably not much help but as another option to copy and paste, you could use a file sync program to sync the update files from one rig to another. I use AllWay Sync personally.
  5. Hmmm, not sure about that one. I would rather get it done custom as it will be compatible with all our theme alterations etc. I prefer to have full control over some items.
  6. Great shout out ! It is always these small things that can get missed in the excitement lol. I myself have an EK block and Alphacool block on order for my 3090. Will double check it all before install. Thanks ! Fingers crossed the Alphacool fits my GPU. It states it fits all the other EVGA FTW3 Ultra Gaming PCB's but does not mention the Ultra Gaming Hybrid specifically but so far as logic dictates, the PCB should be the same, only difference is the Hybrid has an AIO. Only ordered the Alphacool as available so much sooner than EK's block in like April lol. Ha, if only they fetched an inflated price like everything else right now. You could make some money lol.
  7. Cheers, does not seem to bad. I assumed there would be net interruptions, "4-5 Times a day" for about 10 seconds, to be expected with Sat based internet.
  8. This is something I would love to try, though I need to find out where there pricing is, plus I have no idea if they are even in the UK as of yet. The other issue is, what if you do not have a flat roof ? I am just wondering where else a home user with a non flat roof could mount this thing as I know it need a certain degree of line of sight.
  9. Oh, that is fairly wicked ! I may have to take a look and do that when I next need a decent fan and see if I can mod some of these. Thanks for that.
  10. Welcome @Zonalo Good to have you here. I get you on the social media front, some love it , some hate it. I personally think quality content and conversations are where forums excel over social media, so here we are lol. That is a nice looking build, in fact I am sure it is still a capable machine, especially if you are not a super gamer but those Titan blacks are not exactly slouches ....though you clearly like a little bit of 3DMark ? Look forward to seeing you around. E
  11. To be honest, I have yet to really pay an awful lot of attention to positive vs negative pressure in case airflow. I have been a traditional sucker for front as intake and top and rear as outtake. I did actually once try the top as intake as well which logically speaking does not make sense as heat rises, however had a nice cooling effect on the SLI setup I had at the time. Not sure if it was direct cooling or a little bit of direct cooling and heat displacement out of the rear fan instead. I never did any sort of experiment on it. As it happens I still have some of those Gentle Typhoons hanging around never used lol. Wish they were PWM but generally speaking a decent DC control is fine if through the motherboard or external controller.
  12. This is a fair suggestion. I will see if there is an off the shelf product for this. If not then I will pop it in the custom dev queue
  13. I will always be using HDD's in my NAS, I just need high storage at sensible prices. That being said as long as you use decent HDD's such as the Seagate EXOS drives you are fairly safe to be honest so fair as performance. I go to the step of putting the HDD's into RAID 0 and I have two SSD's for fast cache. Does well Oh and yes, I have another NAS that backs up my NAS and cloud storage, so don't worry.
  14. Yeah it sucks. I was considering getting some other 1070's for the CFP but will have to look out for a good deal.
