  1. I can certainly second that. Im hoping when life brightens up that he will return. But either way I wish him all the best, along with a healthy dose of gratitude for all he has done
  2. He certainly will be ! As for shoe filling, we are wanting someone to take on what BWG did , so spread the word !
  3. "Site" I only own the one...thus far lol. Do you think they will just close it and lose all that info or allow it to be consumed by another site ? Seems like a real waste.
  4. Oh don't you worry, I have backups of my backups. I don't leave things to chance. If I lost my data, I would feel naked for it and the inconvenience.... would be insane but yeah I wouldn't launch myself into the sun.
  5. Im not sure if mine are on their as I do not recall the specific model number, I just know that I use Seagate Ironwolf drives for my storage applications.
  6. Really ? Made the assumption it was an unfortunate German to English thing haha.
  7. Such an unfortunate name for a company lol. The Sound blaster AE5 is not a bad choice for the money in my opinion.
  8. Source We will be doing a technical PC based review on this drive soon
  9. Yes. Unfortunately the pool of independent developers is getting smaller which could be an issue. I wonder if the reason some of these once independent companies sell to the larger corporations is based on their own financial struggles being smaller VS just selling out to get rich. Not saying for one minuet everyone is in it for the money, but would be interesting.
  10. Ha, well they are all welcome I have to admit I am not up to speed on laptop/netbook orientated communities/review sites, was notebookreview the only one ? I know they were the big boys on the street.
  11. I have to say, certainly a tit for tat approach. Arguably though, Microsoft gets more out of their acquisition....then again they paid a great deal more.
  12. Ahhh that That is a shame, curious why they decided to shut shop. Certainly a few factors I can think of but a shame nonetheless!
  13. Nope, independent. Though I would get a Hubby 7 with it, some motherboard USB headers for some reasons are a pain with it. Hubby 7 is a USB hub from Aquacomputer.
  14. I have the Aquacomputer MPS400. Cannot fault it one bit. Worth waiting for IMHO.
  15. Thanks ....but crumbs I better get on that as I will be affected. Looks like a quick fix while they work on a patch.
  16. Thanks bud, I will certainly keep that in mind if I ever decide to go that route. Hell I would buy one now to play with, maybe even prep it but right now money is tied up. Oh life ! Haha.
  17. I know nothing of the company in question, but can you get what you want quicker via CableMod ?
  18. Price we pay for bleeding edge eh ! There was a time I used to do that, but these days within reason my systems are fairly critical so I tend not to adopt new platforms early.
  19. I was just checking out this one : HP Z820 V1 / V2 Windows 10 Pro Configurable Workstation WWW.EBAY.CO.UK HP Z820 Workstation. HP Z820 Workstation 2x E5-2697 V2 2.70GHz 64GB 2TB HDD 500GB SSD Quadro K4000. HP Z820 Workstation 2x Xeon E5-2660 V2 2.20GHz 128GB DDR3 256GB SSD Quadro K2000... Still hold their value. I would consider it though if I was going to say have my Plex and NAS as one machine.
