If there is an off the shelf API for this, that can happen soon, but if it requires custom work, this would be unlikely to happen in the near future due to other commitments right now.

I have and the audio I find to be crisper...as it is non-compressed. However visually, making the assumption you are sitting a normal distance from your TV, I would not say it was better than 1080P in real world usage. Technically it is, and if you put your face right up to the TV, for sure 4K wins. In real world usage, 4K viewing doesn't bother me. Gaming... different story.

What I will say is I personally feel that Microsoft will move over as much as possible to a SaaS model. Will they do it for everything....not for Operation Systems IMHO. There OS is a their tool for market penetration and data mining, they need to keep it free for those reasons so I am confident that for the foreseeable future, the OS will not enter a subscription model.

I hope the acquisition comes with a shake up and fixes the AAA title we know as COD. Multiplayer on COD has been getting progressively worse, so has their approach to cheaters. Considering how much money they take in for the title plus all the other im game purchases,I would like to think they have the resources to fix the issues. Bobby Kotick also needs to go IMHO.

Hah, yeah I know. In real world situations I would likely never see the difference. Same applies for PCIe 5.0 and DDR5 to be honest. -
