  1. Ooh, user-defined expandable/configurable storage for tablets? That would be nice.
  2. I've figured the tech side of this is 'relatively' simple and possible, but how else could/would they enforce this? That said I have no experience in China business / Chinese life other than what is presented to me via 'news' and 'articles', be they main stream or other outlets, so if anyone has intimate knowledge of this I'd really be interested in reading it...
  3. To add, on this topic - Not to get all conspiracy on things, BUT - as the poles are moving faster right now and the jet stream/ocean currents are shifting - this is leading to lots more UV and other cosmic rays entering/tangling with Earth. Less magnetosphere protection = more bombardments from even far, far, far away sources (think gamma rays, pulsars). We luckily dodged a bullet relatively recently as a huge CME went opposite our direction, BUT - it's only a matter of time. This NASA link explains what happens when weak coverage distorts how satelites operate and the un-fun process of having to manage updating them. Imagine what could happen when it breaks down over populated areas.
  4. So, who's making the big vacuum to clean up the debris instead of sucking the atmosphere from the planet?
  5. Pretty interesting - isn't there a version of fusion being researched for aerospace as well? I can't remember his name but a previous astronaut built a company focusing on cold fusion and/or non-nuclear propulsion for spaceflight/inter-solar-system travel?
  6. You gotta show some pics n screenshots in action! I patiently await...
  7. Now add in mobile celluar service with face-time like calling natively and make this a 'phone' device too and BAM. The future is here. Again.
  8. Note taken. I still haven't finished the Metro (not sure which one) that I started like... 10 years ago? lol
  9. I've not ever played the RE series. Now considering it seems to be pushing hardware and I have a beefy enough machine, I'm wondering - should I get it? I game primarily on 1440p but I have been thinking about adding in a 4K TV to my setup....
  10. Just read this article. It's a great option for many situations and circumstances - but - is there a thin enough client that this makes sense on in a corporate and/or small business setting? It'd be amazing if this service offered peak potential on something like a super-light, ultra-thin, wifi/mobile 10-15" tablet. Still you'd need a bootable web-browser as a 'base' OS for this. Interesting none the less.
  11. I totally feel you @ENTERPRISE The game has descended into a wasteland where you're unable to be sure the players you're playing against are even legitimate. Frankly, most of the blatancies are easy spot - but sometimes, you just gotta wonder. "Did I just get walled?" "Did that dude just HS me with hip fire?" "Why do I lag when I'm near person X?" INFURIATING! lol....
  12. Avocado. Hi. Just, Hi.

  13. I didn't even know people finally saw this thread! I've had mine since January and I have had nothing but great experiences for it. Rather, I'm actually waiting for newer more interesting games to play. I'm curious to see if BF6 will be handled well with this card, considering they sponsored with the green team.
  14. Why... I mean... WHY. Why the cheats. WHY. WHY do people find PLEASURE in cheating?
  15. I think #1 is most likely. There was a push in the late 80's to get off of 'print' money and 'digitize' everything - but - it never took off then. Then you get the PayPal guys (before Musk even) who wanted to digitize money in their own way. Now you've got blockchain tech being monopolized for 'currency' production instead of the mass scientific use it was previously afforded in broader form. I think the only real option for most governments, IMF, etc - is to move to digital currency. The end game is the ability to do business much more seamlessly across all the ponds of the world. But, it's 2021. Anything can happen. You know, like the Pentagon recognizing UAP's as..... real unidentifiable entities. We turn back now, to your previously scheduled program......
  16. I think I've been hanging out with Mary Jane a little too much as of late.
  17. Now this is interesting reading! EDIT* For some reason, I thought there was some magic in Win11 that banned cheaters. Boy am I out of it.
  18. Ha! I keep mine at the top of my screen! We're oddballs. Call us CRAZY.
  19. Thanks for the update. Bummer you and admins had to deal with that kind of thing. Lame. Glad the site is back up !
  20. Stoked the site back up and YAY! Dark mode!
  21. I find all of this, including your link J7, fascinating. Wild times. I need to lurk the deeper depths at some point.
  22. My 2060 mobile will love this. Nice AMD, NICE.
  23. Fingers crossed that technology does not get stifled in a way that the industrialists and bankers/robber barons stifled. Please please please!
