  1. This Project has met a delay due to lack of funds, it may be a while before its completed. Fittings Cost IS a major pain for hardline, especially when i need white ones.
  2. Update # 3 : BUILD HAS AN OFFICIAL NAME, SAY HELLO TO ICEBREAKER! More Parts On Order, including a shiny optimus block!
  3. can only imagine what a small turbo would do for low rpm driveability of that car just something that gives you power through to about 5000 ish, then let vtec carry it. i know 5 PSI makes my 2.7L V6 an angry little monster off the line, but it also tops out at 6500
  4. im going for both looks and function, optimus offers me a white bracket with nickel block finish, which is what i need for my rebuild, as the case is white and i'm doing white/blue theme wise as much as i can (obviously white M-ITX is a non-existent market)
  5. soon as you hit that smooth section @ 2:20 ish i wouldve matted it. but thats because im a crazy man >.>
  6. Steve Jobs would be rolling over in his grave with what tim cook has done to that company.
  7. My grandfather in 2007, going against what i said, traded in his chevy trailblazer for this truck.....this is where the story begins. through the years that he had it he kept up maintenance, was meticulous in cleaning. always serviced at the dealer as many older folks do still trust thier dealer, he had the money for it so i didnt argue now, to put in context, this truck was not a basemodel. it came fully loaded with features we still havent used today. the DVD screen for the rear seats still has the factort cling plastic on it, the headphones for that dvd screen's audio are still in thier packages in the center console. the interior is immaculate. he leather treated his seats 3 times a year. now the horror part of the story begins, my grandfather had to go in for a TSB, rear hatch/strut motor malfunctions. he started having them so he had it done, all was well. then he passed away 3 years ago. My mother then took ownership of the vehicle. and grew very attached to it. Enter the last 3 years: my stepfathers fleet mechanic for his buisness "intermittently" gave the truck an oil change, and when i say that, usually 5000km-7000km past due. this caused other issues. first issue: 6 months and 30,000km+ on the odometer into her having it, the infrequent oil changes killed the VVT solenoids on the V6, we had them replaced. couple hundred bucks. a warning from my close friend and a mechanic of 40 years to "change the oil before your dashboard says to". we can all guess that never happened. Second issue : intermittent random check engine light, the infrequent oil changes lead to the timing chain stretching and needing to be replaced, this is a vehicle with 110,000km on the clock. it shouldnt have been anywhere near needing that yet. oh well. $3000 down the toilet, truck out of service for a week for an engine-out timing chain replacement. the ting uses 3 chains, not just one. guides were done aswell while he was in there. so was water pump. Todays Latest issue : i get a phonecall from my mother in a panic? you guessed it. something else went wrong. but this time its a part that GM doesnt even MAKE anymore. the transfer case for the rear end of the AWD system is going bad, it clunks when you drive. oh boy. EDIT : call this a rant if you will. but its crazy either way
  8. coming at you sideways from the moon!
  9. those PCI slots though god i dont miss them or ISA slots
  10. UPDATE # 2 : more parts and coolant. EDIT: look sideways images just like OCN!
  11. I know what you mean dude, I used to live up subury area and they drive like morons down here
  12. hmmm ontario huh....what city you in slicker. lol i'm down in brampton, but my cabin is up in burks falls. i always did love honda's yellow on that car, not fond of it on the other ones though
  13. i think we need here, what we didnt have anywhere else. a section both ere and in discord for a "game night" kind of thing. it would bring the community together more i think. think like. bring up a list of game we'd like in the forum section, vote on it. then set a meet time on different days of the week in discord and play as a group. even if in multiple teams for say, 4 player co-op games.
  14. UPDATE #1 : Parts Arrival Radiators, 140mm Fans, and RGB kit more coming in the future! IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: THIS BUILD WILL BE MY FIRST ATTEMPT AT HARDLINE

  18. throwing up a little teaser: Ironically EK wants more for thier block than heatkiller does.
  19. Can We Have Our Hardware Appraisal Area Back? or am i missing something somewhere?
  20. i know its for looks and not performance, but in the case of this build i want the looks to matter as much as the function, my H210i is a butchered mess because i was experimenting. the only reason i debate 5/8OD tubing so much, is white fittings to go with the theme, and as you've said before, the possibility of the tubing size looking better in the case
