    You guys crushing my M2000?

I might just have to revisit that soon and try applying some voltage.

I don't know if I can complete with your CPU physics scores though but I'll try 🙂

I'm going to send @PCSarge a care package here soon. I did not have a chance to get it mailed today, but I have some SSDs and cards for him to blow up for team points 😛

@damric exploding GPUs are my specialty, my 8800GT went RIP today and wont 3D mode anymore. its now a wall hanging ornament .

    Very nice job Kyle.

I'm still writing mine. I tend to write in spurts in between bouts of writers block I am noticing.

you might laugh and i dont know if its appropriate for here but.

smoking a little ganja tends to make my information pour out of me onto paper pretty easily

    WCCFTECH.COM

Like may companies, AMD will continue to support AM4 platform for several more years, with the hint at new designs on the horizon.

Would be great to have ddr4 support on newer cpu!

i will says WCCFTECH is usually more sensationalist articles than actual facts, but any new is good news for AM4.

I just don't like working on petri dishes. That included people's nasty laptops, but also people's keyboards back when I worked desktop and the keyboards in question perfectly qualified as biohazardous waste.

Funny, when I moved out of desktop, I suddenly stopped getting sick so often lol.

thats because " people" seem to consume any type of food they can around a keyboard, that lands between keys and festers

Did that 5770 come out of a smoker's house?

I have a Sapphire and XFX 5770, but both have the reference blower coolers. The Sapphire is a reference board, but the XFX while looking like one, definitely is not on closer look.

    image.png.da79c44aa39961f7e3cd602d644e91b8.png

i had a pair of 5770s both were actually XFX reference cards, the only way to tell is by the last 4 letters of the model number on the sticker

ZNFA or ZNF1 is the reference board as is from AMD no changes

ZNFB is revision B but will still fit reference waterblocks, revision C will not

ZNFC is revision C of the xfx reference board where they cheapened it and re-arranged the layout

  7. all i can say to this is oof.

i remember  when 6850s put out better points. the only upside is the low power draw i guess. and the fact that it only needs 45% fan to be silent and fold at 52C

    image_2022-05-17_175150727.png.0e70951ee966bffec0a832ca35af6f13.png

wish i could afford one better single card to fold on but points! :wheee:

i also think im folding on the wrong core, forgot all the parameters to force specific cores.

  8. yeah 2400 wasnt exactly "compatible" with many boards back then, 1600 wouldve probably been the best bet. you may need a bios update if the ram isnt registering speeds proper though

    I just bought a 5800x and 6900XT, and now we're already looking at Ryzen 7000 series and RX 7000 GPU's???  -_-

Sidenote, when will we see Michaelangelo, Donatello, and Leonardo GPU's?  C'mon AMD, let's make TMNT codenames for a while! :lachen:

look on the bright side, in a few months a 5950x will be dirt cheap, personally im going to grab a 6950XT, waterblock it, install it and use my setup a few years before i even think about upgrading.

As a Canadian, I would like to point out that 99% Isopropanol is available even in the Canadian boonies, at the pharmacy, right next to the reindeer skins...

that my friend depends on your location in the country i think....if the pharmacy is selling reindeer skins, then im chris rock.

    ^Koedood Marine Group?

he works on large marine diesel engines for a living. we have toy cars, he has toy ships.

in other news, i havent got the pictures handy, but someone decided to walk up beside my car in my parents driveway and kick the drivers side mirror off the door.

guy was on security camera video and was reported to police. i'm now3 about to be out about $180 for a power heated mirror. sometimes cars with options bite you later on.

i also have a friend who is in-process on making my custom exhaust for me. my resonator is going away and im going to have a flowmaster sportsman series off the end of a straight 3 inch pipe from the bottom of the cats. gonna have a nice rumbly burble to the car when its done. and yes i know nobody does this to chrysler 4 door sedans. but im that guy.

if anybody needed reference, heres the car which im sure is somewhere in the thread already.

2004 chrysler sebring touring 2.7 V6 , i have a feeling once that resonator is gone and it has a more open muffler its going to make more power.

and before someone says my rear shocks are gone cause its sitting low in the back. i had 2 tool boxes 2 ratchet sets and an outboard motor in my trunk that day

I love the @Spotswood stuff and aluminium frames in general.
I'm following him on Instagram too, besides seeing some nice frames and cases it also gives me inspiration for my own (somewhat oversized) bench table.

Pretty sure this is something to do with FAH Core 22. IIRC you need a specific driver or something to that effect. Even though the requirements for FAH Core 22 weren't listed specifically. I had trouble with older Teslas saying disabled too. What drivers are you on?

    This thread might help too

ironically the fix was to enable beta gpu. idk how a barts gpu is still beta but yeah....lol

I don't think the ppd gonna be worth it ahaha

All i could find is some saying this (This card lacks Double Precision floating point math )

So maybe that the issue ☹️

Oh wait no that was the 5850.

Report from 2020 show it supposed to fold for some reason

i mean. something permanently disables it the minute i open F@H so. idk. its on its latest driver avaliable

  15. doesnt work no matter what you do and always shows as disabled 😄

for reference im trying to fold on a 6850 because i think it would be funny.

EDIT: sorry for slightly sensationalist title. i feel like linus right now.

That looks really good. Would you say it's pretty sturdy?

Well I am due for yet another atx bench. I may have to check out @Spotswood this time instead of the hassle of building my own like I normally do.

fully reccomend it, he will spend the time to do custom stuff if requested, and ask if you like final drawings. it was sturdy without anything mounted, now that stuff is mounted i can pick it up from anywhere and it doesnt move at all.
