  1. my intention eventually is to collect flaship cards from 3000 to 6000 series of AMD, and 8800GTX to possibly 480 or 580 on the nvidia side, i'm trying to get cards with vanilla AMD coolers (because transparent red is cool) and BFG/EVGA for the nvidia side then i will mount them on my wall behind my desk as display items, working or not
  2. gotta do that cable management and front I/O man. Also, Meet EEB Server Tech Tray. sorry for crappy phone picture, camera is dead.
  3. it also burned my trust for nvidia in a melty-plastic and golfclub sorta way.
  4. i have both logitech and corsair's softwares on my pc, no issues here. i doubt those are whats conflicting
  5. delete the icons, drag and drop them back. or you can try the verify option which may also fix it.
  6. as far as power goes it really doesnt do that, it more just takes away air restriction and sharp corners to increase air speed into the intake. youll maybe make 10-15HP more, its more of a driveability mod. but i do agree, better brakes before making an engine do anything better is probably a good idea, i recently put drilled rotors on the sebring for the same reason, i was making some toasty brakes slowing down to dive corners on winding roads, after about an hour or so i knew what to do. EDIT: time to tease you alex, meet the ultimate S2000 the CR
  7. everybody has heard my EVGA What The Flock story. pair of G92 9800GTX+ cards in SLI. less than 2 weeks old, i unknowingly got a bad nvidia driver. went to pul lthe card to do maintenance and they were melted into the PCI-E lanes on the motherboard and were burning hot to the touch. sent EVGA pictures and video of it. warranty denied. driver is user error. i called bs on that because nobody was notified about a bad driver until a few weeks later, then it mysteriously disappeared from nvidias website. now everyone knows why im so sour with EVGA/nvidia. i was a teenager flipping burgers and delivering papers to build a pc, they took my money and laughed in my face.
  8. the 70/30 is actually for cleaning the bed on my 3D printer. cant use higher % or it ruins the build surface im using.
  9. @Avacadoactually, the only thing i was worried about was the bottles getting destroyed in shipping
  10. no actually, its my GPU test bench, my daily is my sig rig
  11. thank you to rich @Spotswood for putting up with my emails back and forth for a week on design changes, they came out great. the ITX tray is perfect, ill be mounting the server to the EEB tray tommorow and will post more pictures! if anyone is curious on the hardware side: Gammaxx 300 CPU cooler Asus P8Z77-I deluxe i7 2600 16GB mushkin blackline DDR3 Seagate Firecuda Compute Laptop HDD Corsair SF750
  12. i miss my 5 ,10 and 15 million points badges from F@H
  13. no problem dude, also, check if the card is dual bios, if it is it may be on "silent mode" on the switch by default. if it is that could explain the fan aswell
  14. folding is based on what work units you pull. that average number you see is just that. an average. you can be either above or below that target by a large margin. i do wonder if you DDU erased your old drivers in safe mode, before installing new ones and the new card. especially if an nvidia driver has been on the system recently.
  15. for some reason im betting this retails to datacenters at like $14,000 each. we'll see this tech hit mainstream in 15-20 years lol
  16. in all honesty, probably not very , i mean local bluetooth at home, youd get away with it. out and about with a laptop. kinda sketchy
  17. you should go looking for a skunk2 intake header for that engine, its ported and allows it to breathe more freely than the stock one, a friend of mine had one on his back before he sold it to someone down in california it let the engine breathe much better high up in RPMs and pull a bit better down low.
  18. nice, i'm pretty active on it,, so if you have questions about things im usually on the game or in the admin panel keeping an eye on things

hes a brick HAUS..... joking welcome to where everybody ran off to.
  22. ironically after 17 years i created a new email address yesterday for this exact reason. all the crap i signed up for as a teenager spams my inbox to this day. with the exception of Coke Music, RIP my friend you consumed me as a teenager. modem wise, the only thing that used to annoy every one of us, guranteed was when mom picked up the phone in the kitchen to kick you offline so youd come downstairs for dinner. kids today will never know the pain of taking 4 hours to download 10 3 minute MP3 files.....
  23. sounds like, looks like acts like a tim cook..... apple sucks (tm) i know of no other company that would block leading banks from using a payment platform. thats rediculous.
  24. @Avacado correction, its a 4x being used as a brace for my racing pedals UNDER my desk, and sadly the laser doesnt read discs and hasnt for many years, its not nostalgic if it doesnt work!
