  1. probably something that is part of edge now and non-removable. i wouldnt know too much anymore, i ditched IE/edge years ago
  2. all of this in the last week: @pioneerisloud
  3. the 3D printer thing kinda made me grin a bit. i have a very modified Ender 3 V2 that i constantly run prints on.
  4. @ENTERPRISE should know this song
  5. As i was going through my email this morning, i noticed one from ebay. now this isnt out of the ordinary when its bid notifications or something but it wasn't. it was something MUCH worse. as of july 1st 2022 the following will be implemented on ebay according to thier email: Canadian and American sellers selling items to others will pay thier usual fees to ebay. Canadian and American BUYERS will pay all PROVINCIAL/STATE/GOVERMENT SALES TAX ON PURCHASED ITEMS. ontop of the fee ebay already collects from the seller. i find it absolutely obsurd that ebay cant take that hit out of thier own cut of the profit margins they get from people selling. buy what you need off ebay now folks, we have a month to gather anything we may need before the taxing is enforced.
  6. this sounds like a bad cable to me, ive had this plenty in office setups before, especially if a cable has been coiled, or in my case, stored on the 1000FT spool in the spool box for a really long time. and before anyone asks.....i pull cat5e/cat6/cat7 (depending on site requests) in large office building as a side job for $$ in college. ive had spooled cable be bad when testing after a pull before, its annoying but very very possible if its coiled or its being stretched to its limit by someone. if you boguht it off a store or from amazon and its defective, return/refund it and toss it. and one thing ive learned from customers cheaping out MONOPRICE cables tend to be pretty low quality of materials and have the most issues.
  7. is also depends where you buy second hand from, for example theres certain components i wont touch on ebay. but will buy elsewhere.
  8. i had this issue with my bench rig recently. all i did was this: device manager---> uninstall driver+tell it to remove from system to delete it----> install version you want-----> reboot. it played ball after that mess. never updated it again
  9. server wiped, fresh map up as of today
  10. when you get into the second let me know, i can be of some assistance
  11. your kids came with a manual, but your wife hid it from you. its how she keeps you on edge.
  12. tomb raider has 3 focus points: 1 - laras booty 2 - keeping laras booty alive by killing things 3 - puzzle progression though most may disagree with me on this. but alot wont.
  13. that experience will last until tier 6 or 7 when you get tossed in with tier 9 players and get outgunned
  14. the problem is informing these younger parents who are glued to it themselves, thats its not healthy for thier children. a good portion of them are in denial, but look to social media for approval of people on a daily basis. children learn to mirror the behaviour of thier parents at a young age. so if not being liked on social media makes parents angry or depressed, the children will get ahold of it and do the same eventually. its a vicious cycle that needs to be stopped before we get multiple generations into this problem.
  15. its coming to a point where the arms race is ending with us spending more money to power the monster, which is going to put high end out of reach for alot more people. if your already spending $2000+ on a card, itll be hard to swallow another $400-$500+ for a PSU for alot of people. the point of diminishing returns has been reached but they continue to push. @Avacado and @Bastiaan_NL know we throw banter back and forth at eachother constantly, if i owned half of what either of them owns in hardware id be in nirvana and they know it.
  16. see most wil lturn thier nose up at me for this, but i have logitech lightspeed peripherals A G703 mouse and a G915 TKL keyboard. wireless has little to no latency anymore so i see no reason to fight it. PSUs wise, i was guilty of using corsair for many years, recently my sig rig got a 1000W Silverstone SFX-L unit that ive been happy with. theres a 750W corsair SFX PSU on my bench, cause i wasnt about to buy another psu at this price gouge point. nor can i afford it as a college student
  17. sadly alot of todays parents use online social media and games as a babysitter, schools arent doing much better handing out tablets and laptops at a young age either.
  18. @Bastiaan_NL and @Avacado are nvidia guys, bastian even lit his cheapazz chips benching ATI card on fire when he was done and sent me a video of it.
  19. @damric -casually walks over and wheels the trophies away-
  20. i kinda laugh. i wonder what outlandish stuff i would solder onto a card.....
  21. as long as you are not stoned and operating machinery or a vehicle, they could care less here.
  22. @damric i bet your shipping me your old ones im just joking
  23. i guess my little nudge in PMs earlier finally helped you see the light. if you need any assistance just ask, ill offer what i can give you.
  24. @damric exploding GPUs are my specialty, my 8800GT went RIP today and wont 3D mode anymore. its now a wall hanging ornament .
