  1. He may have already made a case for a board like that. If not, he can customize a case based on measurements you send him. My main FAH rig is in one of his cases that I customized a bit and I'm quite happy with the result. Definitely send him a message.
  2. Congrats @Bastiaan_NL! Top 200 all time points!
  3. They are still doing it. They recently added restrictions on what cards you can step up to based on your original card. There's also a queue involved since they don't have enough stock to fulfill all requests. It only took me about 2 weeks to get notified I could do my step-up. I think it took @BWG about 9 months to step up to a 3090.
  4. I didn't know this was a thing. Let me know how well it works. I might need to pick up one or two myself!
  5. A lot (most?) of the EVGA cards can be registered for their step up program within 90 days of purchase (when new). Depending on what your original card is will determine options when stepping up. The 3070ti was the best card I could step up to. The cost to step up is based on your original purchase price. For me, the step up price was $500+tax+shipping.
  6. Stepping my EVGA 3050 up to an EVGA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti FTW3 ULTRA
  7. I signed up for an EVGA notify list earlier this week (yesterday?). I only signed up for the more expensive card and received the notification for being able to purchase today.
  8. MSRP of $329.99 (+ tax and shipping) is what I paid. I just realized I forgot to put in an associate code for a 3% discount
  9. I'll be returning my previous purchase of water cooling parts to Amazon. I just place an order from ModMyMods and Performance-PCs for different parts. Hopefully I did better this time!
  10. I've had a few changes this month... On 1/10/22, bought an EVGA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti FTW3 ULTRA HYDRO COPPER GAMING, 12G-P5-3969-KR On 1/12/22, bought an EVGA GeForce RTX 3080 12GB FTW3 ULTRA GAMING, 12G-P5-4877-KL On 1/12/22, sold an EVGA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti FTW3 ULTRA GAMING, 12G-P5-3967-KR that I had purchased on 9/15/21
  11. Thanks! My ppd will be pretty low for a while. Helping with the competition this week at [H]. I may stick around folding for them for a brief bit afterwards to hit a few point milestones for my old team before I transition back here...and to make sure @BWG doesn't have more points than me over there!
  12. @pioneerisloud it looks like your ETF card might be down as well. It's been a few days since you've completed work.
  13. It is possible. I made a lot of my part decisions based on what I could get at Amazon or microcenter. Amazon had a lot of Corsair parts available to ship quickly
  14. Sounds good. I somehow missed that other thread. Thanks for the update.
  15. @Cerberus is your ETF rig still running? It doesn't look like you've posted points for a few days.
  16. A bunch of water cooling parts. Still need to get tubing, but I should be able to get that locally.
  17. BWG got a 3080ti a few days after they came out. GPUs.txt needed to be updated before it would fold.
  18. That can happen if GPUs.txt is missing or out dated. However, if this is a new card, it may not be listed in GPUs.txt. I would either post in the folding@home forums (https://foldingforum.org/) or ask on their discord (https://discord.gg/foldingathome). I believe @BWG ran into this issue a few months ago with a newly released card and they had it fixed pretty quickly. EDIT: If you decide to post on their forums, it looks like this is the correct sub-forum to post in: Folding Forum • View forum - New GPUs (whitelist) FOLDINGFORUM.ORG
  19. I think the equivalent 3080ti is $1420ish? Either way, not too different in price.
  20. It was from the notify queue. I wasn't expecting to get the notification this quickly! 1300 +tax and shipping.
  21. I'm starting to feel like @BWG: https://www.evga.com/products/product.aspx?pn=12G-P5-4877-KL
