Sometimes not enough battery level will stop the power button from turning on mine.Found out when using aftermarket brick.Would power up on it's own with lid open after sitting plugged in for hours, but not with the power button unless I left the lid closed for a couple days then tried the button.Different brick straightened that out.

lol, well the cell buy out (t mobile/sprint) caused my 3rd party phone provider to have to upgrade my phone since it was using both and I HAD sprint and the phone wasn't compatible with t mobile. Went from the Dino to a newer cheap phone with the following specs for free...
