  1. lol, because redmond is only looking out for our "safety"... Windows 10 or 11 S mode limits you to Windows store software only(They seem to be taking a page from Apples book there, but you CAN change to regular mode)
  2. Expired certificate downs Windows 11 snipping tool, S mode start menu and settings page | ZDNet WWW.ZDNET.COM Microsoft is yet to push a patch that will fully resolve the issues caused. Umm,think I'll keep waiting....
  3. lol, Do what I do to my Gran kids, I pop in Pole Position and tell them "Back in MY day THIS was a race game!"
  4. lol, get a 12000 series intel and have to wonder about your library? Faulty DRM breaks dozens of games on Intel’s Alder Lake CPUs ARSTECHNICA.COM About 50 titles are affected, though there are workarounds and pending fixes.
  5. Still curious if steam still has the issue with dropping to 0 then starting back up. I'm in the US with a 400Mbps service and I test over 400 consistantly for my download speeds, but Steam does the same thing to me whenever I have an update or a new game to download.Almost like they cut people off to let others in because they aren't sure they have enough resources...
  6. Wait, they're just NOW admitting that China's making it hard to provide an open internet? (hitting my head against table) And these are the people I use for my e-mail....
  7. Battery/Power Supply issues? Sometimes not enough battery level will stop the power button from turning on mine.Found out when using aftermarket brick.Would power up on it's own with lid open after sitting plugged in for hours, but not with the power button unless I left the lid closed for a couple days then tried the button.Different brick straightened that out.
  8. Because they only have the cards on 1 site where they are ALWAYS sold out, so the gpu's that would be going to companies like ASUS,MSI,EVGA,Gigabyte, just to name a few for WHO knows what price won't even be available now.(I'm sure they don't sell to the 3rd party vendors at cost....) This way when the NEW cards come out, there will still be a demand because people weren't able to fill their backlog from last year, thus allowing Nvidia to set the MSRP even higher on the new cards like AMD did. Nvidia No Longer Selling RTX 3080, 3090 Founders Edition Directly From Its Store WWW.PCMAG.COM Founders Edition models are instead being sold via Best Buy in the US now, with no designated seller in Europe.
  9. Because,we wouldn't want the supply to start approaching the demand again, that would kill our scalping err profits....
  10. Got rid of cable a few years ago, get about 20 ch's ota using the tv tuner, and for the cable ch's we wanted to keep, Sling pretty much fills that for about 30 bucks a month compared to the over a hundred it would be for basic cable.
  11. Dying Light has a 4 player co-op mode also. It also has a "be the zombie" mode. These are online co-ops. You can send invites to the 4 player co-op. Fallout 4 Destiny 1&2 Ghost recon Breakpoint Division 1 still supported. Little Big planet -Sackboy a big adventure. Elder Scrolls Online
  12. Everytime I see 1 of these awesome looking builds or water cooling jobs I look in the mirror and remember this Far Side comic... I'm glad others here are so I can appreciate their work.
  13. (sigh) I miss the days when they'd take your soul, but now days that's not even worth the deposit on a good card....
  14. especially when the others who are having "exclusives" seem to be limiting it to 6-12 months before it releases other places.(Epic for example)
  15. I live in a highrise built in the 70's. They had to replace my faucet because the neck developed a split that was leaking and put a new 1 in that's identical to yours and what I already had. lol, they're still churning those units out.
  16. ^^ all the post above = Great minds think alike. (or would it be twisted in this case?)
  17. I was just thinking "Yeah, smart move to tell them aprox how many Tbps you can absorb in an attack so they know how much they gotta up their game..."
  18. the wife was laughing at me 'cause I managed to fly into a building twice by accident. She was like "Really? This isn't the Bin Laden flight academy here..." at which point I gave up trying on her xbox.
  19. lol, y'all posting epic pics of your flights, and I'm over here like this....
  20. lol, well the cell buy out (t mobile/sprint) caused my 3rd party phone provider to have to upgrade my phone since it was using both and I HAD sprint and the phone wasn't compatible with t mobile. Went from the Dino to a newer cheap phone with the following specs for free... Brand = MAZE Model: MS5514G Chipset: SC9832E Screen Size: 5.5" OS: Android 10 Oreo (Go Edition) Camera: 5MP back and 2MP front Memory: 1GB+8GB Battery: 2100mah Seems strange having a screen I can actually watch something on.
  21. I think the more important question will be "Can Intel's discrete card play Crisis?" If they're finally playing with the other kids in game performance then LOOK OUT!
