  1. feels more immersive in 4k with the graphics kinda looking like the older 3d movies(I'm only 30" from the screen so it feels like I'm right on it. lol, that may be a bad way to describe the feel, but it's the closest I can think of. I like it,no buggyness so far in anything.
  2. yeah,I did a modest OC and it's been ok in Destiny2,Dying Light,Metro Exodus, and Witcher 3 so far. Just now took it higher and tested using FurMark's 4k preset test, here's a screen shot of results (notice the actual OC can be seen in HWMonitor @ 1980Mhz) Don't know why gpu-z list the OC at 1757Mhz,but no matter WHAT I OC it to that's what show's there after a certain point.lol, it probably doesn't like my card because it's not a super. gonna try some more test.Edit: added screenshots the set oc is 1875 but it boosts to 1980 for some reason, it seems to run stable on it's own between between 1850 & 1920 during the test and hasn't crashed yet. Will see how it does in actual games. the big black "benchmark results" shot is from the Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor benchmark in 4k. lol, actually got like 1 higher & 2 fps lower than when I ran it in 1080 just before. I also switched my ram over to the XMP profile which gives me a higher clock there. Might try rerunning some of the test with cpu parts to see if it helped.
  3. Well, went with the BenQ for the 4k because I don't do a whole lot of gaming where I have to worry about getting killed often by real people. and even @ 60Hz it's supposed to have a 1ms response time.(I bought the Dp cable for the best results.)
  4. giving the VIOTEK GFI27DBXA 27 Inch 180Hz QHD 1440p 1ms Gaming Monitor, the AOC CQ27G2 27" Super Curved Frameless Gaming Monitor, and the BenQ EL2870U 28 inch 4K Monitor for Gaming serious thought. each are $300.00 or less and have a 3 year manufacturer's warranty so I don't have to worry about buying an extended one. Will fit the dimensions I have open for a monitor so that's a plus. Edit: I didn't go with the Lg's because they only had a year warranty on them.
  5. It was 1 of the extended warranties from walmart(that's who I got the monitor on-line from) original warranty was 1 year so as soon as the time was up it showed it was no longer valid.
  6. System is as follows : Some monitors I'm wondering about... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B084CYSSBG/?coliid=I2Y7I404EW1T2B&colid=2WJ2OAYKZORL7&psc=1&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07PGL2WVS/?coliid=I3BU0A8OVEV1WL&colid=2WJ2OAYKZORL7&psc=1&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0939Y8S81/?coliid=I2W123HGC8SVS2&colid=2WJ2OAYKZORL7&psc=1&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0862YHJ56/?coliid=I2OS71QFSXVJJQ&colid=2WJ2OAYKZORL7&psc=1&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08YFLC3JD/?coliid=I3OCPVGY0JOTGI&colid=2WJ2OAYKZORL7&psc=1&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08YMW8YY4/?coliid=I25G9PTZ1D0NHQ&colid=2WJ2OAYKZORL7&psc=1&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it https://www.amazon.com/dp/B089NZCLHW/?coliid=I18SOQDL7PHVM&colid=2WJ2OAYKZORL7&psc=1&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08KFMN2PT/?coliid=I37JXSCPGE5F3H&colid=2WJ2OAYKZORL7&psc=1&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it
  7. My Sceptre 22" flaked out 5 days after the 2 year extended warranty ended, so I'm looking for a replacement monitor (upgrading hopefully) that will fit in the following dimensions. 28"w x 19" h ON the stand. Hoping to go above 1080 but not spend more than $300 after shipping& taxes. (didn't really see this coming) No Micro center near me. Newegg and Amazon are my usual friends... lol. The Sceptre greeted me with a white screen that when I restarted it,showed a blurred faded image of the logo before going all white again. When I hooked up the old monitor,it works fine,so I know it's the sceptre.
  8. When your E3 announcement isn't quite what you thought it was gonna be...... ?
  9. all you need is any android device hooked up to the tv. Even the fire devices that support the bluetooth controlers are able to do it with the playstore sideloaded. lol, think how much that would p.o. the geforce now users who bought games for the pc,play them on the tv using a shield, then xbox is like "Oh,we can offer all these games for so much a month instead of having to buy them flat out..." ?
  10. lol, I must have missed the first batch(they started at 8 am my time) but they are supposed to be staggering the release which I guess is why they say coming soon(more in stock). If I get 1,all good,if not,no biggie.Already running a 2070 so not that great a diff for what games I play. I can wait another year or so. Link with info on the 3070 ti founders edition release ---> https://www.pcgamer.com/nvidia-geforce-rtx-3070-ti-stock-where-to-buy/
  11. shows online only, coming soon where you click to add to cart. think it's either waiting for a certain time, or broken. (was supposed to be midnight, but midnight WHERE? lol)
  12. Welp! so much for that dream....
  13. I always felt the live from Budokan exposed more people to Cheap Trick, like Frampton comes alive did for Peter Frampton.
  14. And most of the consumers are left scratching their heads asking "where did they go?"..... Source
  15. Ummm, did anyone know this? https://www.pcgamer.com/best-buy-has-figured-out-the-best-way-for-you-to-beat-the-bots-to-an-rtx-3080-ti-fe/ They make you show up early, get in line, hand out slips of paper and when the store opens the slip is good for the chance to purchase 1 card. When the slips are gone, stock is gone.No bots beating people to the cards.1 slip per person in line. ? far as I know, they'll be doing it with the 3070ti fe also. Edit: Just as a kicker, they're selling defective 2080ti's on ebay for between $799.00 to $990.00 .Will the madness ever end?
  16. ? Only new dolls on here please.... ?
  17. I'm sorry, it's just that Nvidia tends to Bring out the Marvin in me..... ?
  18. How about a little more information on the cards hardware specs so I know WHICH link I want to click on to check for its availability?
  19. While cards listed on Nvidia and Best Buy show this limited crap.... (BestBuy shown here) I mean really, the color category is SUCH an important fact...?
  20. When will Nvidia make it easier for consumers to figure out which card they need/want? These are shots from Nvidia's own website "comparing" the current generation of cards. If all you need to know is how much ram the card has it's very helpful. But what about cuda cores? Memory speed? Would ANYONE here purchase a gpu based solely on the info that Nvidia supplies in the "compare" section? Does anyone else think they could include a tad more info?
  21. at only about 2% slower than the 3090 and actually faster in some circumstances (depending on memory usage) it's pretty much the better option for gaming now. It's more of a 3090 competitor.... Saw a vid where they were saying how they'd be saving money on the cards because they only use half the ram as the 3090. So they'd be able to sell 2 gaming 3080ti's with the same ram over head as 1 3090 gaming sale.
  22. How can you tell a great song? When you're scrolling FB and see it posted and just reading the title makes you sing the entire song to your self.... Enjoy!
