lol, if it cost more, it must be better? I guess a lot of people still subscribe to that train of thought. Nvidia's gonna have to realize eventually that just raising prices as the mood fits will only drive people into the arms of the competition (as long as THEY don't follow the price increase train) -
I ran across an ad for the ASUS RTX4080 Noctua OC card so I figured I'd look at it and see how much it was costing. Imagine my surprise when it's the same price as an MSI Gaming RTX 4090. And,it wasn't the only one,other 4080's were listed at 1649.99 also,and 2 were $100.00 less than the 4090. Where is the gap between cards for price=performance? Did they just leave any increase in performance out that was worthy of noticeable price jumps?

in this case it may be justified, I mean the only place the cards beating my 1st gen 2070 is in the 1080 section. and it's not by enough to make me jump to replace it with a 4060.And this is 2+ generations of card releases later....

Just going off the title, my first thought was "They're gonna get this big azz chip back and the AI will argue that that IS 2 nm and then end the conversation because they're being judgemental. After reading the story it made more sense. -

Talking to Vertical Scopes people in a forum is kinda like holding a conversation in the old AOL I.M. chatrooms, it just goes round in a circle until you get shut down for violating a term of service nobody knew about..... -
When I went to OCN today had a pop up that surprised me, "Subscribe now for ad-free viewing" lol. Wasn't that a thing before Vertical Scope broke them and said "We can't fix that pluggin so tough titty?" I guess with the exit of some people and the start of a viable site that offers ad free viewing,they felt the need to "do the impossible" and fix things so they can try to keep up with the quality sites.
