  1. With the work unit completion rate and assuming no one powers down anything we should hold the lead. Do Intel Arc cards do ok with F@H? Might sneakily add the ARC A380 in my gf's pc to the mix.
  2. Soon.. I had my 9070 at the 253w P/l during the night which holds 2.9-3.1ghz core clock typically, but this morning I dropped it to 160w P/l and it it's still 2400-2700mhz. For near enough 100w less in use this card is really efficient.
  3. Wish I had another rig to use my 6900XT in currently as my 9070 (it's oc'ed to 9070XT performance or slightly higher depending on workload) isn't putting the numbers I expected. Not like the 6900XT is faster but it would certainly help out.
  4. At this point I can't imagine playing any game without an SSD... the experience is just better and SSD's have come down enough where I can't see HDD's being viable unless you just need flat out storage for non games.
  5. Those specs need to be no more than $199 but I wouldn't bother until it's $150 or less.
  6. Might finally make me upgrade my 6900XT. Don't care about RT but more games are basically building around it. Also FSR4 (again not a fan of upscaling) looks promising at least.
  7. Amazing news, thanks for keeping the torch lit.
  8. Wish I had the funds let alone the knowledge here...thanks E for everything
  9. Event finished literally 30 seconds before this was submitted.. sigh. Even bumped up the p/l to try to out edge the timer but it failed, though I did shave a few minutes off. Had fun as always all. Guess I can't complain though, I'm still the best of the worst aka below 100k That said... Yea, two of those are definitely not me. Thank you for the generosity whoever is doing so.
  10. Well well well, you'll be hard pressed to beat my single. 230w limited 6900XT. That said, in, SoloCamo
  11. Sad to see but completely understood. All I'd imagine most of us ask is to at least show your face once and a while around here. Best of luck. Thank you for the many years of supporting both sites.
  12. The 7800XT ($499) and 7900GRE ($549 msrp) already fill that gap. If they can get 4080 level performance for $500 next round that will be solid.
  13. good job folks, glad to be the best of the worst again
  14. I personally just run the Brave browser for any mobile browsing. No third party apps required and it's typically faster.
  15. Game had so much potential, really hope modders eventually save it. It's not a bad game, but it's certainly no TES quality game.
  16. Threw a code for a dirty MAF sensor. Not effecting drivability (for the most part) but I really need to clean those out and the throttle bodies (dual intakes on the VQ37VHR) At 150k I really can't complain aside from the paint being absolute trash. Still way too hot here in FL to really do any work outside.
  17. Blah missed this one and my 24/7 mining Nvidia GPU is out of service now. Will make sure to get in on the best one.
  18. Thanks, missed that. I do have an Athlon X3 cpu but it's a low clocked, low tdp version I bought ages ago...
  19. Man, I really don't have anything to compete with and I missed out last time due to simply forgetting. For the AMD cpu they mention AM3 cpu's - I'm assuming no AM3+? I'd love to use my FX-9590 for that 3 core event... That said, I'd imagine they'd be ok with using an AM3 cpu in a AM3+ mobo?
