  1. there is an interesting GN video on that topic directly with Noctua... just based on the topic recomendation not saing they last for ever .... and yes the arctic are as well a pretty heavy duty fans for the price point..
  2. Just slam "Noc -Thua and spit on that thing" as you will forget about it anyway.... They stated they have some fans running already 15 years straight which i bellieve without any second thought...
  3. Thanks for sharing, did the recomended settings and looks good so far. Have to test it a bit more but looks like a good way to as well test the coolers finally and after the deliding… thanks for sharing and if you have any other advice please share.
  4. Nice that was kinda quick, lucky you… hope you like it
  5. had the same about the confirmations, but log in to your account and there will be an link to follow your order and shipment... at leat this was my experience...
  6. Well ill wait what they figure out. I was having this problems like games crashing, but thought that my undervolt and clock settings were just unstable and wated to delid it to get a better termal headroom but would be most probably a mistake… well lets see how this develops and if i get somehow my money back i would go to AMD team… would be beneficial with the pcie line spliting for the nvme pcie card
  7. Thanks E. I will probably do it as recomended, its becomming interesting...
  8. well IDK if it helps but here you could take a look here for some reviews: Reviews | TechPowerUp WWW.TECHPOWERUP.COM eventually here as well but you will need to dig a bit on the internet Navigation Groups - PSU Case & Modding EN WWW.IGORSLAB.DE https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=sff+psu+reviews and could be as well helpfull to get back on track on the toppic if interested I know its a bit plain explained and all one source of information, but i like that its explaned so even if you dont have a master in this toppic you understand it ... Would be nice if we could gather more infos and sources lets share some knowledge.. looking forward to read some interestig stuff ... @slaughtahouse - get Shilka over here!
  9. Nice that was a quick decission… i think you will not regrett it. Just be carefull with the assembly… here is my little misfortune: i messed up in the srewing in the sticks and yeah 1 got unfortunatelly stuck…. I cant get it out anymore as i overwinded it and now the base whole got loose and is turning as well.. anyway let me know once you get it what you thing anout it
  10. Glad you like it. And take a look at ebay/amazon, i got mine from an local seller so was able to avoid the custom and tax. Just bought from the store directly the power and reset buttons, which are not that mich or you can buy them localy as well if you take the measurements of the wholes… and one more advice, once you decide, order and get it, take a look on an assemling video, i was to proud and damaged mine a bit And just one more thing, its rly a good bench table
  11. An open bench table would not be a sollution? Plenty airflow, no height limits of the coolers or hw and for example: BC1 Mini V2 – Open Benchtable – Streacom STREACOM.COM DA6 – Mini-ITX Case – Streacom STREACOM.COM on the regular BC1 you even have a nice demo mode which turns me on the most but the DA6 is sexi as welll… and as its open there are no airflow problems = lover rpms = quiter? Ornim wrong? just and idea…
  12. Hi Guys, just kinda thinking if you have any experience with that. I was intending to delid my 14900K but before i made anything i just read about the degradation problem of some of the CPUs. So there is as well a fix for it like to upgrade bios and make some settings which i did and gues what? As im on air cooler the seetign ust causing i always have the same result in cinebench and the CPU is downclocking it self based on the temp... Which means for me makes no sense to delid it now and test the Thermal grizlys heat spreader alonng with 2 separate coolers... Or am i wrong? Missing something? Here some media i digged in about it:
  13. but they are as well cosiderably larger then the HR10 right?
  14. thanks for sharing i somehow passed that my bad. So basically doint its job and its some nice temps you got there
  15. sorry for bothering you but is there any output about the temps? Performace any good?
  16. its a nice cherry on the top if you dont mind the collor scheme and the price tag.... Otherwise i would not go for it.. im kind of a TR fan and yes buy better fans - slap them on a TR and you will be 1/2 of the noctua price tag and call it a day
  17. New System drive with an Raid 5 WD black drive.. Disks are second hand but with 0 h/ just 3-8 times power on count.... and each costed me about 92 EUR which i bellieve is not a bad deal! The coolers are new .... Now i just need to buy some time to implement, install, and get it running..... (do you have it as well that you have more projects than time for them? )
  18. Used Xpansion card from Seagate 2TB for ......... 100 bucks! working like a charm and thanks to the DYI cooler stand i made its cooling this small thing as well BTW does anyone know the TBW of this card? Next i finally made the step and bought my self a test bench... Streacom BC1 still in progress...
  19. I like it! Put this on a metal cup in black and ill buy it for my coffee....
  20. Thermalright CPU and SSD Coolers at Computex 2024 WWW.TECHPOWERUP.COM Thermalright brought several new CPU and M.2 SSD coolers to the 2024 Computex. Our tour of the Thermalright Computex booth began with the HR10, a high-performance active cooling solution for... So Aparently the biggest AIR cooler from them is Frozen Vortex and it has 6 x 6 mm pipes with 1x 8mm pipe! here some pictures : Thermalright Frost Vortex 140 SE 서린 : 다나와 가격비교 PROD.DANAWA.COM 최저가 94,830원, 현금최저가: 93,000원 Im rly loioking farward to see the tests! its like a hybrid between the Frost Comander 140 and and the Phantom Spirit
  21. Well thats interesting, looking forward to the tests as well the comparision to the Noctua End why i admire them? Well good Quality and good performance doesnt have to be expensive..
  22. yes but on Windows, not on Ubuntu, but it was ok for me...
  23. I like that there is still enough space for improvement and i like as well the approach of them that first they make some runns and sells of the brown version and if everything goes well the they release the black one… but as wrote already, cant wait for realtime testing and reviews
