Thank you for your concerns and advices. I canceled the payments yesterday already, but what im mad at is that they put my account to free version even i was paying for it. How come? Based on what? Who made the decission? If you want my money work for it the same i have to do… if you switch my account then let me know about it bcs it was not my decission… Anyway im done with them.. no penny goes this direction anymore.. my point was just to chceck your subscription guys, if you are paying and not gettin anything for it… would be waste of money you can spend in a better way…

im not coming with the perfect example, but there are statements or posts where Thank you and Respect just don't fit... Like "I think we should meet for a beer" .... or "Probably i should try to reset my bios settings".. As well if someone comes with an "invention"... But as told its just an idea....

Well as the topic name already says i would like to have at least 1 more reaction button on posts. We have Thank you and respect and i would be happy if it would be possible to adopt one more: or like in a meaning "Good Idea" There are so many post where it would simply fit - better then Respect or thank you... As well i dont know how much work it presents to add it, but would make sense i think... Its just that i had this idea in my mind for a longer time and wanted to share to see what you think about it... basically yes thats the conclusion he made based on the data from the test. But as he as well stated he had more 2022 cpu samples then 2023 so take this as well into consideration.. Thank you for your reply. I went finally with the 690 Ace as the guy gave me another discount and finally paid 320 EUR... I think its not a bad price and will see what i can manage on the board regarding the DIMMs and theyr speed. Ordered as well some corairs platinum dimms 2x32 GB 6600 Mhz - lets see how this will work And today i got my CPU delivered and had luck with the batch Funn part is that it was rly lottery as i bought it for the lowest price online at my place... Shame that i dont have an ASUS board to check the SP numbers but it doesn't matter in the end.. Now i need just my mounting kit for the LGA1700 and the correction frame delivered.. Then ill replace my system... BTW any ideas what would be better for the new build, Win 10 or 11? Ups and downs?

I started to look up the possibilities of my upgrade. Budget is not the problem, the problem is more if it make sense to spend the money... ASUS and Gigabite i dont trust - EVGA i wanted the Z790 boards, but they are not present and even if the last update of their bios on the classified was in march... ASrock? hmm not convinced... So basically only way to go is MSI.. Wanted 10 GB NIC - well then you have to get the GODLIKE but you have t trade the iGPU... Which i don't want... And you pay a massive price for things like the external display you don't need... So i started to look at the ACE mobos... Like the design, has what i need except for the 10GB NIC - but i could pass it by with and USB/Thunderbolt adapter.... Now i found a used Z690 ACE in a mint condition for 360 EUR which is basically half the price of the Z790 ACE and the max edition will be even more expensive... Is it recommended to take the Z690 for an 14900K and Dimms like DOMINATOR® TITANIUM RGB 64GB (2x32GB) DDR5 DRAM? They are not listed in the supported list? Or does it make sense to pay for the Z790? Just don't want to burn unnecessarily money in a try and fail run ... Let me know your though.. Any advice is appreciated..

So here the Progress so far: I was able to buy the following used parts: Fractal Design Ion+ 660W Platinum for ca. 40 EUR with a valid waranty till 14.1.2032 (it has all i wanted - platinum certification, eco -no fan mode and enough power) And after a small research they apear to be not bad at all and for this price with waranty i had not much to think about.... Fractal Design Torrent Compact White TG Clear - for 87.75 EUR in an auction - but in a mint condition... But missing some extra parts like the conversion KIT for the 140/120 mm fans... but i anyway wanted to go with the 180mm ones so no problem as well.. SEDNA - 2.5" / 3.5" Hard Disk Rubber Stand ( 12 set / package ) for 79.99 USD at their online store with free shipping - had to pay customs about 32 USD it was still cheaper than if i would buy it from Amazon where the total cost was 141 USD.... IDK how for you folks but i saved a bit ... Now i dusted my old MSI Z87-G55 mobo with some Kingstone 8GB RAM and an G3260 dualcore processor cooled by my TR - True spirit power Paired with an R290 TriX GPU So for playing arround the mobo cpu combo are for sure enough, but for the real deal im now thinking about to retire my current system and use it for this project. So it would be MSI Z490 Godlike with an 10900K and 32 GB ddr4 ram.. But now my thoughts: 1, Is it meanigfull to update now? and if 14900K or AM5? 2, The current platform would deliver Wifi conectivity - paired with a 2,5G and 10G LAN conector 3, 10900K should be enough for my usecase scenario with 10 cores... and if i down clock and underwolt it the True spirit will kep it quet and chill.. 4, plenty M2 and PCIE conectivity... 5, 2x thunderbolt 3 for conecting an external GPU for folding 6, its my own HW so no doubts about the state of it.. @The Pook - how do i find out if the godlike has good IMMOU groups? Hi Guys, do you have any experience with the MSI z490 godlike m.2 xpander-z gen 4 s? Having it in the first PCIE slot and it recognizes just 1 x M.2 disk.. both are initialized but just 1 is found... In the manual they saying that it should go to the second PCIE slot, but i have there my GPU and even if i would switch it to the first PCIE then the second one will be covered with the fans on the GPU.... And even i change the lines to the PCIE 8x8x or keep it auto nothing... Is there any "hack" how to get it running? Having now in total 3 M.2 hdd in the first and third slot... But its under the GPU and becomes a bit hot there - for this i wanted to move it to the expander as well... any advice will be appreciated.. thanks!

True, even the guy in the video I posted earlier made it in this case and as well moded it a bit.. (3D printed front with a 200mm fan opening :D) Anyway, i have true spirit power which is collecting just dust and would like to reuse it, for this reason i need a CPU cooler clearance of 171 mm ... For thi reason the torrent were looking ideal with the PSU in the upper area leaving the space for some HDD at the bottom. Here as well a small inspiration ... Link Interesting to see the chipset cooler as this.. first time i see something like that but OK.... Anyway, if there is any other case having good Airflow with a PSU in the upper position, 171 mm CPU cooler headroom and the bottom free then please let me know...

to be honest with you, first i have to take a look what Proxmox is and educate my self a bit.. But thank you for the hint! I will for sure consider it before i buy any HW (besides the case)... Well i was to slow with the Torrent case and before i decided i was sold.... But im as well found another guy selling a Fractal Design Define 7 XL Black TG Light Tint for approx. 140 USD and as well a ventilated front cover approx. 46 USD.. Im tempted but on the other hand the case is too big for my use - not having the space for it as its a bit bigger then the "Compact" Torrent and for this price i could buy directly a new torrent... And in the end i would not use the capabilities of the case to the max which means waste of resources.... Im looking to have around 6-8 HDD , which is plenty space for my personal use.... As told - a "Pre"Basic user here
